I'm forced to clear my leave. After taking days from 16 Jan to 19 Jan, I still left 14 days of leave from last year! Alas, what am I doing to do with my free days? This is my first day of clearing leave and lucky for me Bear asked me for dinner.

Went across Bugis and tried this Sichuan “ma la” steamboat dinner buffet. Cost only $15 per person and it was rather reasonably priced considering the amount of services and food that one could devour himself with.

Bear was writing what we want.

Look at the chili soup which comes submerged under 5cm of chili oil. To see damage level could do, I surrendered after just one sip. The drown the fiery feeling on my tongue that borders on numbness from the extremely spicy soup- made with a huge amount of peppercorns, ginger and dried chili

“Ma la” is literally translated as “numb hot”. The thick, murky-orange soup looked harmless enough, but it was so spicy it was positively inhumane.

Even Bear who loves spicy food couldn’t take it. By the time dinner was over, he couldn't not taste anything with his tongue .That’s what I call a tongue-numbing experience.

I find that Sichuan “ma la” steamboat is excellent and very good value......a superb places to eat where the emphasis is on both quality and value.

After dinner went to Suntec city as Bear needs to buy shoe.

Bear looked so womanish to me. Holding a shoe with 2 hands?
