It’s the first day of the New Year!
What better way to start the year kicking is to meet up my old pal. Who is the ONE?
It is none other than the elusive Roger.
Roger called me saying his wife has opened a shop in Bugis village and today is the first day. I was thrilled for him naturally and I suggested that we should make it big. I mean really BIG!
He should be engaging lion dances (Bear as the lion head and Melvin as lion's back) and with me as VIP in ribbon-cutting ceremony. I also proposed have party poppers as fire cracker for good omen and with Rachel & Stephanie as cheerleaders for lively entertainment.
For a moment I thought Roger had a stroke for I swear there a minute silence over the phone.
I can see Roger is well and kicking after arriving Bugis.
He quickly ushered me to his wife’s shop.

Since today is opening day the couple had to make some adjustment here & there.
The area is not yet fully developed for I could see some contractors still working at other units. I took some pictures on the left of the shop.

Roger told me he himself installed everything in his shop! All these years I knew him, I never know Roger of all trade.
