Upon reaching Furano, we still have to take their local train to our hostel.

Ok...air is fresh, grass is green. So what's new?

Ah...countryside lifestyle.
Journey was long, to add to our misery it rain non-stop.

But still it haven't ruin our mood. Mum and sister still strike a pose.

Walked about 1km before reaching our hostel.

Check in luggages, we explored the place.

Many people visit here to breath in the fresh air of this unspoiled place and for the feeling of the great outdoors. I can see why. There's not a single souls or cars as far as my eyes can see.

This is Furano's lavender fields.

Furano's lavender fields attract large numbers of visitors to the region every July and August, when the plants are in full bloom.

However, it was already almost mid-September and most of the lavenders have dried off.

But still it was quite spectacular
Photos only now.

(This farm has no opeing or closing hours. It free to walk in and around at anytime)

After our little tour of the lavender fields, we walked around the town hopefully to find something interesting.

(Mum so brave...bravo bravo)

Had lunch at this family style restaurant. In fact this is the only restaurant we can find.

(Went to Furano main town. Sad to say, still like a dead town)

(Back at hostel before 7pm)

Me and Michael sleep at upper deck, mum and sister below.
Sleep early, what can we do in this countryside.
