Day one in KL

Woke up my body aches, all my muscles sore and my mother was even worst condition than me. We decided to leave for KL in order to avoid Joyce. This decision I believe was the wisest we ever made so far in our lives. Told Miss Malacca (Joyce) of our little adjustment in plan and we made our way to bus terminal in the morning.

Ticket to KL was rather cheap (RM7.90) and it took just under 2 hrs to reach there. Before boarding our bus, I gave Miss Malacca a grinned of relieved.

Left Malacca at 10:00am and reached KL 11:50am.

Once disembarked my mum and I crossed the bridge and found a budget hotel. RM50 for one night we took it without hesitated.
We took it not because it cheap, it because the aftermath of yesterday walking.
We were too fatigue to walk anymore.

Have a short rest before any exploring of KL and the first stop was the Berjaya Times Square.
I'm sure you guys been to there no point telling more about this place.

We travel to Chinatown and I find this hotel very familiar. Ah yes, Rachel should know.

We didn't explored too much as we both were extremely wear out completely because of too much walking in Malacca. Really, it was a total draining of physical or emotional strength. We reached a verdict, we settled conclusively we are heading back to Singapore tomorrow.

After 2 days of torturing(walking) it time to release some “heat” inside us and I'm not sure what is that called.
It almost like jelly and it's black color. You figure it out.

There have hawker stalls selling food along the street side. The atmosphere was good and there was a healthy crowd there that persisted even after midnight, sampling durians, fried oyster cake, claypot rice, grilled fish, satay, etc. I also unearthed a stall selling claypot chicken rice.

After some observation I told mum this is our dinner.
She nodded with approval.

Just next to our table there a stall selling soup boil over charcoal along the busy street.
Wow, must try.

Those who frequently drink soup will know boiling over charcoal is so much better than over the normal fire stove.
It was heavenly!

Mum used to have cook soup in this traditional way but ever since moving to Pasir ris, she stopped.

Still, I told mum this is nothing compare to her cooking and she seemed so pleased. Women whether it 7 years or or 70 years old is all the same, they like to be humor.
(Mum's lotus soup really taste better)
