It is a urinal for men obviously.
I encountered this type of design before especially in coffeeshop. I can understand that due to space constraints, the urinal have to put close together.
But the thing is, how on earth does 2 persons use it at the same time. The standing area is just enough for one person only. If it cater just for one person use at a time, then it defeat the purpose of having 2 urinals install.
I just don't get.
I figure out the only way to use is, one person standing on each side like the picture below.
But then again, isn't it very sensitive to use as both party can see each other.....you know where lah.
I suspect this must be designed by lady.
