Long time no see this Melvin, haven't go out with him in donkey's months. The last time I went out with him my wrinkles haven't taken up resident on my face yet. Pick him up at his work place in Shenton way and we're off for lunch.

We had bak ku teh (pork rib tea soup) in Tanjong pagar complex. This is a classic Singaporean treat! As I sipped the broth and spooned it over my rice, my bowl of bak ku teh was topped off with more hot, peppery broth. Damn good services and Melvin nodded his approval.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(Behind his smile, there wrinkles)

As I study Melvin just below his eyes, fine lines was everywhere and his arms had pigmentation spot. Goodness me, he is in even worst conditions than I am.

We're are getting old!
This is end of the world!

After lunch, went to Shaw centre to collect my lap backpack and proceed to Far East Plaza. We shopped there while waiting for Bear to join us. When Bear finally arrived, it's like “X-Men United"

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(Lady in pink likes to pose, apparently)

After some small talk, we the 3 Amigos mingled with the crowds devoted our time to "look see, look see" activity in Far East Plaza.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(Bear likes shopping)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(Melvin likes it better)

You know, the clothes there is very trendy but it's not suitable for the 3 middle age amigos. Meant for teenagers so you guess it, no buy.

As we were walking and intended to cross over the DFS Galleria, I spotted my Brother, his wife and my nephew. Very surprised to bump into them and situation like this, of course I dragged my nephew along for mini tour in Orchard. He, too wanted very much wanted to spend some time with me. I am his fave Uncle.

So 3 amigos movie has been rename to 3 men and a child.

No need to write too much as pictures tell a thousand stories, right?

(Adult had much fun as kid do)

Personally, I found out that bringing a kid along was quite fun. Have I been any different today from my usual self? Of course! With my nephew around, my eyes constantly fix on him instead of some chick's boob.

My behavior tend to alter when with kid. I am better discipline, more civilize.

(My sixth sense tells me, Melvin likes to be film)

Clearly, the star of the day was NOT the 3 Amigos but my nephew!

There is a new proposed amendments to the Public Transport Council Act introduce in Paraliament. Bus, taxi fare cheats could end up in jail!

Amazing, isn't it? I reckon ¼ of the Singaporean will do time at least once in their life time. Is this the Swiss standard of living we are talking about? So much so for compassion and grace society.

It says,

Bus companies, for example, lose an estimated $9 million a year to fare cheats. Typically, a dishonest commuter taps his ez-link card on the exit reader well before his intended stop. This way, he is charged a lower fare.

My comments,

How do the bus companies arrived at this figure?

$9 million a year is about $25,000 a day. Assuming everybody cheat 10 cents, that 250,000 commuters cheat each day! Now, if really that many, how do they know?

Was 250,000 commuters caught cheating? If not, how do they arrived at this figure? NKF also told us, their reserves can only last 3 years but in fact it could last 20 years.

The bus companies spent millions implement ezlink system and yet they are still ineffective against cheats. Despite all the overcharging by ezlink, forgotten to tap when alighting therefore the full fares was collected and yet losing $9 million a year to cheat?

Is this a joke???

Ezlink was setup to reduce the 1 million dollars lost annually for bus fare cheats after setting up instead lose $9 million year? EZ link system that is supposed to solve the problem of cheating, and yet, after spending millions on this system they still cannot solve the problem.

The EZ link system is expensive and doesn't deliver its promise.

What if the bus company overcharge the commuters? Do the drivers or one of their management go to jail?

Very soon, we will need to pay for parking and COE for our bicycle.

This day will come, I tell you.

Last week, was staring at the mirror while shaving, I saw something that freaked me out. I stumbled upon of great important! I surveyed once more and established what was the find of the decade!

There was this few damned crease line decided to take up residence on my face! It was a wrinkle! I have ageing lines near my eyes! God save me!!!

And who cares if it was a wrinkle, hello, I do.........now.

I always swore I would embrace the procession of time and the wisdom that came with it. I would age gracefully just as my friends have. Then I discovered my first crease line and freaked me out. I said the first thing that popped into my head. "Shit"

What's more astonishing was, listen to this. I spoke about this to a friend of mine, he's around my age and he already started using those prevent fine lines and wrinkles cream years back.

He recommended me to use Nivea product for men.

Then I told another friend (around my age) about my problem and he is using Nugeno face lifting cream to prevent wrinkles!

My goodness!

Serious, I don't expect normal men unlike those in the celebrities business to apply anti-ageing product on top of after-shave lotions. I guess men are more aware of their appearance now and many use their wife's creams.

What's more unexpected was........finally, I brought some anti-wrinkle and radiant youth essence myself.

Darn....this is so unbelievable.

Recently, I started checking for any potential baldness sign and few years down the road, I reckon, viagra will be on my list as well.

Sigh!

You know what is the hottest news in Singapore right now?
Dengue mosquitoes!

What's so scary about this dengue fever is that, it may be fatal. Picture this, you eat healthy, stay healthy and kanna this maybe you're gone for good.

Nothing will stop the dengue mosquitoes from breeding in these weather. In fact, there no countries had succeeded in stopping this annoying mosquitoes. One of the truly remarkable facts about mosquitoes is their ability to adapt. Ever wish those pesky little creatures would just go away permanently?

Don't count on it. Mosquitoes have been around for more than millions of years. They are able to adapt and refine accordingly and thus stand the test of time.

The one thing, I can't stand mosquitoes is, they tend to leave bites on your tender parts especially the crotch area .........you'll get the idea when the itchiness kickoff. I often wonder why this damn pests like to bites that area so much.

Finally, I know why.

Only female mosquitoes suck......blood, male mosquitoes don't.

I read up from Channel News Asia website that local celeb Sharon Au goes back to school.

It says,

1) The 30-year-old, who is a regular face on MediaCorp TV Channel 8 variety shows, is leaving at the end of the month.

2) A former straight-A student, she was awarded the scholarship by MediaCorp about five years ago.

3) She has to go now because the scholarship contract expires this year.

------------------------------------------------

I says,

A) It's good news for the viewers. We no longer have to endure her acting cute at the age of thirty.

B) Her acting/hosting skills not to mention her Mandarin is SI BEI AU

C) I can watch Ch U safety again knowing I will not get any seizures simulated by her.

It's hard to believe that its been months since my visit to JB. Bear needed a good massage over there and I can't let him go alone, can't I?

Like a schedule, we followed our routine strictly especially if it involves good food. First stop was the curry fishhead. For unknown reason, I think it's taste better than the average curry fishhead sold in Singapore.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

You guys read it all before too often, so what's new? Nothing.
Taste was just as good. Nothing more, nothing less.

Bear wanted to have Thai tradition massage, unfortunately it was not open. What is a Thai massage? Well, you start by laying on your back, and the therapist uses gentle compression and stretching techniques to open up your body, beginning with you legs.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Now you know, Bear like being torture. If he ever was caught in a war by our enemies, I'm very sure he will not reveal any information. He can withstand any abuse throw in at him. I'm sure of that.

How about me? I don't go to that extreme. I never like stretching, yes I'm afraid of pain. We opt for Chinese massage instead.
Damage: RM60/- (1 hrs)

After a good relaxation, it is time for dinner. Been to this place whereby they served raw food on hot stone.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(Bear is cooking like chef)

Nothing to write about this place as I did mentioned before.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(Mine, I like it raw)

The clip below: Ah Bear's face is damn serious. He is obvious have a lot of passion, patience and pride in his cooking. In real life, he never pick up a pan before.

The clip below: Bear was teaching me how steak should be cook. The man is pleased with himself and his steak. As for my steak, I just leave it one side to cook. Not too cook, medium rare will do.

Rachel sent me an email couple of days back asking me why I did not do a write up for the Project Superstars. To be honest, I seldom watch CH 5, Ch 8 & Ch U ever since I subscribed to svc. But I know that this show is quite a phenomenon as everybody seem talking about it. Even the aunties (cashier) working in 7-11 near my place was asking me if I'm rushing home to watch Superstars when I brought my cigarettes.

So do a late comment on Superstars as Rachel requested.

Actual fact, I did catch a little bit of this show this season says about 10 min each time. I don't listened to the contestants sing (switched to other channel) instead I wanted hear out what the judges said.

Before I forget, I notice when the male contestants were vote out, they always cries like a child as if their fave toy being taken from them. Why so emotional?

About the judges.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Li Wei Song - Err.......I'm not a fan of Chinese song so I don't know what is his achievement in Chinese music. I know he used to be a singer/writer so how many hit song he got under his belt? Can he really sing better than those contestant? Is he hotter than Sun Yan Zi or Ah Du in his heyday? No? But I know one thing, he loves talking. Of all the Judges, he talked the most.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Li Fei Hui – Wau lau, this guy BEST! What's this guy's profession? He appeared more than those Getai singers performing during the hungry Ghost festival. He's looked so Hokkein and so peng. Is he a Hokkien singer in disguise? His smile is so....imagine u're a gal and he smile to you. You know what he want liao.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Ye Pei Fen - Looked like educated old Ah Lian to me. Read up and found out she came in tops in Talentime many many years back. She won that only competition and that time, our policemen still wearing short pant. Spend a lot of time revolves around criticizing how inappropriate the contestants dresses and I think her dressing is far worst than anyone else Take a look at her bombastic hairstyle, you will understand.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Fang Zhong Hua – His grading was quite biased, I figure. Enough said.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Xu Huan Liang – His comment is short and sharp. Therefore, I'll short and sharp as well. No comment.

In the end, Weilian won. It's a fact that Kelly performed better and even the judges were agreed. Kelly has out dance, out sing Kelvin whereby he just stand there & sing. Some said, he got the advantage over Kelly because he's visually handicapped and attracts sympathy votes.

In my opinion, it's the votes that count. You see, it's not all about "technical abilities" on the day of the competition. If it were, we could have Talentine back, why bother with public vote? The judges and recording company could decide who the winner then.

At the end of the day, I guess Weilian have charisma and “renqi” to exert a certain influence on vote.

It's goes same with any person campaigned for election. However I have no idea why G. Bush was elected 2nd term in office. He does not possess any of the above mention.

I had a bad dream last night. It was really really bad. This nightmare, neither was the ghosts nor the atmosphere that scared me but rather it was my own self.

I dreamed myself committed murder.

In this dream, I killed 3 men all by slitting their throat, blood was dripping profusely on the floor and I watched them bleed to death. I have no idea why I did it, but I remember I felt no fear or remorse.

The only concern was how to run from the law. Fear then gripped me like a cold hand over my heart and it was more than fear, it was a pathological terror. I guess this is how fugitive feel.

Why I have this dream?
Why can't I control my dream?
Why can't I dream about my sex fantasy instead? How fun it would be then, sigh.

I was dispatched to the ship via a launch, my objective was to board the ship. In this mission, things can go wrong. Nope, I was not in my reservist training rather it's my job if I have vessel to attend.

Trust me, things can go wrong when out in the sea. Heavy rain, strong wind and bad current may capsize big vessel, let alone small launch. Even one is a extremely good swimmers, but against mother nature he's as helpless as a baby.

For those larger boat is not safe even when alongside. I took these pictures when I was in Clifford Pier on my way out. She was sank off at Clifford piers jetty.

My launch is about five times smaller than the capsize boat. What you think of my chance out in the open sea if there's an accident? Just on the record, there are no life jacket available in some launch.

Damn, I'm putting my life on the line for my work. Not worth it.

Stephanie was at Temasek Tower in the afternoon. Since I've shifted here, haven't seen her quite awhile. Everytimes we met, l felt like she interrogate........interrogate was such a strong word. Let me rephrased that. I felt like she conducting an interview for job candidates. Asking me questions from work to my leisure time and even my date.

Took pictures of her for my blog and it's my incompetent, somehow she managed to snatch my mobile phone and deleted off her pics. I can see, she is getting aggressive these days. Possibly suffer from gamehobia? A fear of marriages.

Yes, she getting married soon.

I remember that I haven't done my interview on Stephanie in my blog, so I employed a more amiable approached first since she exhibited extremely violent behaviors.

Me: So tell me, when are you getting married?

Stephanie: Not sure.

Me: Huh, I thought you already applied for house?

Stephanie: Yeah, but still not so soon.

Me: Well, your boyfriend is sure one lucky chap.

Stephanie: Of course.

(Sensing she's getting more comfortable, I decided to commence my interview)

Me: You don't mind me asking......how your sex life?

Stephanie: I'm a professional, a financial planner, you know.

Me: I know.

Stephanie: I'm a professional, a financial planner, you shouldn't ask.

Me: Why?

Stephanie: Because I'm a professional, a TOP financial planner.

Me: So?

Stephanie: Why do you always ask about sex, I wonder?

Me: It's increase my viewership.

Stephanie: Let's just say, can fish survive without water?

*Both of us laughing like a pair of hyena*

(Anyway my conscience is getting the better of me these days, I settled for today.)

Me: Nevermind, we have another interview some day.

Look at the video below, she's very camera shy.

(She actually smile)

Nevermind folks, I'll get a full interview with her.

Some friends especially Rachel used to comment, my self-esteem and confidence is higher than taking my IQ or EQ test. I think it can reflected in my body language as well. Somehow they don't seem the same enthusiasm that I have. To some of them, my self-confidence projected arrogance.

Yes, confidence is contagious but so is lack of confidence. My self-confidence won't cross the line into over-confidence or arrogance state.

I used to lack of any self esteem or confidence when I was in my secondary school days. Felt like a wimp with people walking all over you, take advantage or just ignore you. Whatever I needed to do something, I asked. Afraid, I might made any error. On the street, I'm was intimidated of being seen simply because I thought my clothes looked dreadful.

My life had no meaning. I was unhappy, self destructive, unsatisfied and aggressive.

All that changed after I had my first job, in shipping. I was given the opportunity by my boss and his faith in me is even more crucial than confidence.

If back then, I would never have written any blog, afraid my English, vocabulary, grammar and writing skills cannot make it.

But now, I DON'T REALLY CARE!

Seriously, faith and confidence are an unconquered army. It's how the way you look at and feel about yourself.

Take a look at the picture below.

Had lunch with 2 of my friends which I knew them during National Services time. Ah Lam and another chap from another platoon. Needlessly to say, this three amigos are in our mid-thirties liao.

DAMN, I forgot to take picture of our shoes. It's because THREE OF US all wore the same brand, cutting and design! Only colour separate us.

What's brand would 3 middle age men wear to work?
Converse high tops!

Wondering what happen to the gal that I took pictures with?
Let me refresh your memory.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Apparently, haven't seen her for 2 weeks and been avoiding her. Why? Went out with her for 2 months, I realized she got his habit I simply CANNOT stand.

She loves sms to her friends or vice versa even we're in the cinema!

She received sms every 5 minutes, be males or females, she duly responded. Even there no sms, she would open her pouch, check her mobile if there was any messages for her every ten freaking minutes!!

Initially, I disregard as I believe never stand between a female and her virbrate mobile phone. But as times goes by, I feel like a moron being high all the time. There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.

I'm tired of all this nonsense however I never expressed my disapproval. For 2 weeks, been avoiding her like saying got ship to attend and I even dare not online my MSN messenger.(We used to chat during office hours)

Apparently she does not take the hint, she sms me today asking me why didn't get in touch with her or online my messenger? My goodness, what am I suppose to say?

Like, "Hey I don't like you sms, it's like you having a virtual sex partner out there?" Currently thinking what is the best solution.

One final note that I observed during the last 10 years of dating. I found out prettier girls are more easier to date than those below average. Those gals who are way below in looks department were the hardest to date.

I'm not kidding, it's based on my experience.

For the last 2 months, I've been very hectic with my activity like going to KTV & pub. Possibility within a week, I can “chiong” 2 to 3 times! This exposure, of course took its toll on my body, brain and my wallet. I never wrote any entry on this before and I thought, probably I will cease all clubbing pursuit by end of this month, I might well write at least once.

Let me start off my so-called extracurricular on last Friday after work. Initially was going to a pub but my friend suddenly shifted his attention to this KTV as there were his “kakis” Unfortunately for me, I knew them as well so.....

Time: 8:30pm
Types: KTV
Damage: High

Been this particular KTV before. There were more than 10 of us guys and of course it's not those family KTV. Inside were like United Nation because there were hostess there were with multiple nationality like Singaporean , Malaysian, Vietnamese or PRC

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(semi nude, hostress)

Took of her top/bra and dance. Trust me, this ain't nothing yet. I remember there another KTV even outrageous. Taking photo/video with them is not a problem as they are very liberal....I really mean it.

This place absolutely bored me to death. My first encounter in these type of KTV was more than 10 years ago but as I get older, all this became irrelevant as I rather have an intelligent conversation instead. I'm not going to another KTV ever again, I swear!

Left the place 3 hours later with a friend and proceed to a pub at Tanjong pager.

Time: 12:00am
Types: Pub
Damage: Medium

I had been to this pub only for 5 times. Got to know this waitress, she's only 20 years old. (Her name is Joyce) I learned all this years of clubbing......talking about dirty/sex never failed light up any the atmosphere. Tonight, she wore those bareback top with jean and her back was completely bare! Damn, she was hot and sexy!

After her work at 2:30am, left the place with her. Together with my friend, we went to Red cafe.

Time: 3:00am
Types: Disco
Damage: Medium

Three of us went to Devil bar for some chill out time. Seriously, I didn't know nowadays here they open til 6:00am. Actually I didn't know a lot of things. Like I asked this Joyce why she didn't dance, she said, “ My stick on bra will drop” while she holding her 2 busts.

My God, Singapore modern girls now are so outspoken!

So in one night, I went to 3 places to drink. At this rate, I wouldn't live past 40s. Currently, cutting all entertainment with the exception of going to one pub.

Friday, August 19, 2005

I just came to realize now it's the Ghost Month. The gates of hell open wide and the spirits or hungry ghosts are allowed a month of feasting, wander to seek food on Earth.

Hungry Ghost festival is a popular occasion that is taken very seriously by the Chinese. Some even think that the ghosts would seek revenge on those who had wronged them in their lives. The reason why the Chinese celebrate this festival is to remember their dead family members and pay tribute to them.

Now I had this dream for the past few night. I dream of my buddy, TEE. It's seem that he wanted something from me that I haven't give it to him yet. After few night of pestering by him, finally I know what he wants.

According to TEE, he came to visit me 2 times already which was last year and this year. He did visits Bear's house as well. Now he would like to pay Melvin a visit and he don't have Melvin' s house address.

He is really piss off, I can tell by his tone.

Been to Melvin's house once and I lost his address, nevertheless being as resourceful that I was, I use GOOGLE to search of Melvin's address and hallelujah, I found it.

To safeguard Melvin's privacy, I'm not revealing his full address here. His address is Blk 507x, Wellington Circle, #x2-14x S(7515xx)

I did asked TEE, of all our platoons mate, why look for Melvin whom just a mere acquaintance (he knew Melvin through me). He didn't say anything, he just stare at me. He looked so......thin and pale. Leaving me no choice, so today I wrote down Melvin full address and burned together with some offering (paper money) to my buddy, TEE.

He should be appeases now. He should pay a visits to Melvin anytime now.

Melvin, ask you something.
Did you borrow money from Tee before he passed away?

Nathan has been re-elected to a second six-year term in office as President. He is the ONLY candidate qualified to stand for election, having been issued the Certificate of Eligibility by the Presidential Elections Committee.

There were three others who filed for the certificate were rejected which mean we have no election.....yet again.

As a Singaporean, I thought I have the power to vote for my elected president this time. But at the end of the day, I am just like everyone here, we have no say at all.

The majority of Singaporeans should be the one to decide who should be the president and why the election committee can override the majority interests? If this is the case, I urge this Presidential Election system to be cease. It's a waste of people's money and time to stage such wayang.

If Kuan is as bad as the newspaper said, then let him go into election and let the people vote and decide. Why afraid? If Nathan is good, he will win hands down for sure, so why worry about that Kuan?

I suspect if Kuan are allow to run for president, he probably will win...BIG.

By the way, is it still necessary to have a President? Paying over 2 millions for his salary? We can save all the money! During National Day Parade get our PM to stand there and if not, our D.PM also can do.

On a more serious note, I don't think any erection election to make any different here. Whether it's the storekeeper, some retired tutor or even some chap selling roti prata becomes President, it still won't change our life for the better. Period.

Still there's nothing more piss off than this.
There goes my public holiday!

Honestly, I can't believe that it has already been a year. Actually I started my online diary much earlier when I still using yahoo (my website). Since emigrate to blogspot, it made me so much easier and faster to update. I'm talking hours vs minutes here.

Since 15 Aug 04, my online diary remain a fairly close resemblance; Like eat what, going out to where, who I see, what I see...etc. Should I change my approach to blogging? Most probably, it ain't gonna to happen.

There are times, I really wanted to stop blogging because it takes up a lot of my time, like uploading pictures, resize photo.....thinking how to write...etc. Of course laziness do play a big big part. Guys, you have no idea how much effort I put. At times, it took me hours to complete(only minutes to read). This alone, I feel like throwing in the towel. But when friends called or sms you telling you they enjoyed your work, it gave me strength & motivation to carry on again. (You know who you are)

Also I write for a reason, having them read my online journal like like keeping in touch even we don't meet or called each other. How I wish my friends have online journal as well so I could know what is going on in their lives.

Remember this guys, "Out of sight is out of mind"

Go to my website and sing.....

Dedicated esp to the hosts of National day parade.

Friday, August 12, 2005

Wau lau en, a mere 4 peaceful protesters, they send in the whole riot squad! Next times, if the protesters swell to 10, probably K9 units, apache helicopter or F16 might call in.

Well, I was not surprise the riot police was called in for 4 peaceful protesters. Remember the hundreds of Police, Army & The Gurkha's was called upon to go after the 3 fugitives at Paula Tekong?

Maybe the riot police needs some drill practise, that's why the whole squad was brought in.

Excerpt:

“This section go to the right! The rest go left! No one is to come through!” barked the corporal to his men, clad in full riot gear – truncheons, shields, head gear, and shin guards.

The threat? Four (yes, 4) activists who had assembled outside the Central Provident Fund Building in downtown Singapore to protest against the non-transparent and non-accountable nature of the way the Singapore Government deals with public funds"

I reckoned when she past by me, I think it was about 30 meters away only. Cool......

Reached home took a nap and woke up just in time to watch National parade. On tv and I saw this Kermit........I mean Gurmit Singh and Sharon Au. They are shouting..........I repeat, SHOUTING instead talking on the microphone. I couldn't hear what they were saying esp Sharon Au. Her English was broken, her pronunciation is like rapping.

Mediacorp do not have better option than her?

She tied her hair in pigtails acting cute like little girl. Oh my God, I feel like puking once again. (I vomit earlier when I saw her on TV). How old is she now? Not only that, she was jumping, hopping like a silly toad.

Really, Sharon Au is......si bei Au.

Then this Kermit Gurmit keeping saying things like, “Everybody scream”. If you watch international event like the Sydney Olympic have you ever hear the MC asking the audiences to scream? No sirs! He thinks he is still in the tea dance disco or some idol concert, probably. This is freaking parade!

If not, he asked the audiences, “Are you rocking”. I looked at the crowd consists of toddlers, housewives and grandparents and he asking them to rock? Rock what?

Children rock the rocking chair, housewives rock their wok and grandma rock their walking stick? Nanbei!

Ah yes, his fave phases, screaming top of his lung “Let me hear some noisessss” Then this Sharon would twist her head in every direction, like the parrot, screaming like she's being tortured by a loan shark. This alone almost made me smash my tv set.

“Everybody scream”, “Are you rocking”,“Let me hear some noise” was repeated over and over again. It's shows that our 2 MC are incompetent, perhaps does not know any better other than to cater to the needs of the spectators.

When the parade started, lucky for everybody, both of them disappeared.

Bear needs my help re-installing XP on his pc. So met up with him after his work at 6:00pm.

Social time at 6:00pm,
Dinner at 6:15pm and followed by
My lecture at 6:30pm.

You see, it all because of Bear's hair.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

So what the freaking problem with hair, you might add?

Well, if you watch Internal Affair, the Hong Kong movie, Andy Lau act as Lau Kin Ming, he has short hair as well, right? But you look at Bear's hair, it has no shape nor style. It fact his hair resemble this chap name Kent Cheng stars as Fat Cat, a mentally challenged fellow.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

In short, Bear appeared clumsy and this hair style make him looked retarded.

Went to his house before few times and his house remain very “complex”. I thought my brother's place(with 2 kids) was messy, but this is incredible.

What is that red shirt hanging at the living hall?

There was this theory that some people are born neat and others disorganized. For me, I like my home looks like a showcase. I hate to admit that I am obsessed about keeping home clean and neat.

Help Bear to reformat and re-installing OS. During the installation, it prompt us for the cd keys. Guess what? Bear lost his cd keys.

Ah Bear is very disorganized indeed.

Feeling urge for a smoke, so I went downstairs for a quickie. Opps, saw “old veg” squatting there with a stony-faced like he hadn't slept in whole night. He whispers secretively on his mobile phone.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

My first impression is that I wanted to trail him for dubious reasons, quickly whip out my mobile, snap a picture. He continue ignoring me like I'm invisible.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Why is he ignoring me? No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get him off this phone

(Mute out the sound)

I figure out, he is talking with a female. Hello, Karen (Old veg's wife) I know you're reading this, your hubby has done such a fantastic job. He is certainly talented!

He may not have hair, but he's still one fine looking vegetable. Better keep an eye on your hubby, ya.

During lunch time I was at Clifford pier vicinity. I decided it has been so long since I had any reported adventures with Melvin, so called him up for lunch together and his comment had really upset me.

What do he mean he had already eaten? It's only 12:15pm. I'm hurt, I need to nurse my wounds. For some strange reason I'm becoming increasingly disorientated and agitated.

Did he show up?
This picture say it all.

I always maintain a person with high degree of potential violent will win any psychological conflict.

Take a look at his clothes, guys.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(A potential security guard)

That's his uniform. He wore dark blue pant with long shelves blue shirt and they look every bit like that private security guard. I think he knows his plan for his retirement.

Who can blame him? Even Nathan if he wear like this, people might mistaken him as selling roti prata chap.

Just last week, a new female colleague has joined my company. When she started work on her first day and she was introduced to everybody. During that time, I was not in the office. After seeing her for one week, I still have no idea what is her name.

Time: 5:00PM
As I leaving my office, I walked past her department saw her working furiously and me trying to take the gentleman approach, I started talking to her, like asking her name or even better any "exclusion", hot news. In less 20 seconds of conversation, another female colleague of mine came in and guess what?

She said, “I knew it, you are trying to score points with new girls again” And she turned to my new colleague and said, “ This one very sneaky fellow, please refrain from speaking to him too much. Now he will put on a modest front, after that you will be eaten alive by him in later stage”

Holy smoke, I realized in my company the girls here label me as a buaya! No idea what a buaya is? Dear friends, buaya is Malay for “crocodile” which means “wolf” or a womanizer, flirt.

I seriously think she's think too highly of me. My buaya skill is still infant stage. Hahah.

But anyhow, I'm going to do an interview of myself one of these days.

------------
They said,
Got this colleague, called Nicky How
A well-known buaya, that all can see..
See girls only, go phee-0-whee.
And flash his Thai Rolex, gleefully.

All the women, in our company.
Think he very, touchy-feely.
See him quickly, siam jit pee.
Or stare at lizard, in the pantry.

I said,
My van from top, looks Ferrari.
Shirt from far, looks like Armani.
Tie from side, becomes JPG.
Pants seen from bottom, is Versace.

Payday I buy the girls Gucci.
And diamond rings from Tiffany.
Bring them to zoo, till the hippos know me.
How come I still BOH SENG LEE?

Singapore shopping centre general made improvement like from pay toilet to free usage. However the same cannot be said over the causeway.

Was in Malaysia and I discovered the pay toilets over there had increase from RM0.20 to RM0.50. I was surprised to see a queue form outside male toilet, as I made my entry. There, I watched a man inside City Square toilet collect 50 cents before each person entered the toilet.

The point behind the hike is that, theoretically, that the toilets will be kept clean by the professional manning the facility. Cleanliness same as before but there is only item that was upgraded.

This is what you are prepared to pay you for unique sink from Malaysia.

Took MRT back home as van was being hijack by my A.Manager. Taking the MRT is always a challenge especially during the peak hours. I notice there different category of people taking the train.

First there the "Drifters" group. Since I'm staying in Pasir ris(first stop) so the train is empty, alot of seats available. Imagine standing behind the yellow line waiting for the train. Somewhere, somehow, when you least expected, someone will silently making full use of the narrowest space between your feet and the line to mark their territory and slowly drift in front of you,. Suddenly you found yourself standing behind them instead. Simply awesome man! The authorities should seriously consider recruiting them for special operation missions.

The second group are the "Swifter". I tell you, this group with their instinct and quick reaction would be most suitable for S.W.A.T team. Once the train doors open, like S.W.A.T team in action, they burst in the train in record time. This is so cool.

Of course there the "Don't bother me" group. This group of people consists mainly of an individual, most of the time, just himself or herself. They have a habit of jerking up their volume on their MP3 to the max or just quietly to themselves with earpieces fit in one of their ear. With their lookalike hearing equipment, they are like the Secret Service, their primary mission is remain intact in their seat or standing. They don't look around, don't talk or even close their eyes. Oh...I am so awe-inspiring with their attitude.

Then there always have the “Distracter”. Of course for this group, most of the times, they chat non-stop and guarantee to get you attention. They talk like a loudspeaker, competing for spotlight. My goodness, this is so entertaining just standing next to a “distracter”. You can never get bore in the train with them around.

This group I hate most known as “Da Bei Gong” or “Tua Pek Kong” in hokkien. Who is Da Bei Gong? He is taoist deity, people tend to pray to him for luck and he is usually in a sitting position. So when people referred to as “Da bei Gong” it mean = sit there whole day = Idle. This type of commuters usually stand in front or near the train door refused to budge even there are other trying desperately to get off the train. The Chinese temple should hire this group as medium for ritual and trance session.

Met Bear at Plaza Singapura after work as he wanted to see the movie “stealth”. So let him be the boss for a day. Anyway, he won't listening to me unless I fart. Haha

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Apparently, I figure out watching movie during the weekday is much better than weekend. I hate queue. I hate watching with noisy punks. I hate watching with those cheap charlie who knock into back of your chair once every few seconds. I don't necessarily discriminate, I simply exclude certain types of people.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(See, no crowd)

Look at Bear, his clothes are just like his uniform. Always t-shirt with bermudas, slippers and together with his sling bag. He may look like an idiot and talk like an idiot but don't let that fool you. He really is an idiot fashionable.

Had dinner at Long John Silver and since there no much people around for me to observe so I study Bear. I concluded sitting in front of me is a piece of pork chop.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Seriously, I still have old photo of his, taken when we are in the Army (92) and he was just like me. SLIM!!!

About the movie ”stealth”, don't watch! Think the audiences are stupid or what.

1) Fighter plane zoom at low altitude can spot his friend and recognizes her despite there other humans around? - With this kind of speed, how can that be possible???

2) Enemies trying to kill actress by using mortar when the target is only less than 100 meters away? They have machine guns, mind you. - During my army time, I'm from mortar platoon. It won't work this way.

3) The actress knows her way to N.Korea's border when neither have map nor compass? - Don't tell me it's instinct.

4) USA plane can anytime fly into other countries airspace like N.Korea and Russian. - This got to be kidding me.

It goes on and on and on..........there’s no denying it, stealth is ridiculous.

After show went for drink at Macdonald's and I learn that Bear's PC is inflicted with virus, he needs to reformat his PC yet again (an average of 4 times a year). He did not install anti-virus program.

Told him many times to install, anti spy ware, firewall, anti virus program and yet..................sigh.

Some people like my advice so much that they frame it upon the wall instead of using it.

Nanbei mata. Useless mata. In case you don't know what is mata, it literally stand for Police.

Time check: 3:45am and I was along Shenton way to Clifford center on my way home. Heard the police siren but no police car was seen so what do you do?

Ans: Drive on like me.

Reaching traffic junction still hear police siren but nowhere was any police cars seen and traffic light was in your favor so what should you do?

Ans: Reduce speed drive on like me.

When I drive on, suddenly there this police car with it screaming siren do a e-brake and stopped just half meter from my van from the other direction and obviously this police vehicle beat the red light.

So what did they do?

Stared at me as if I'm some sort of criminal. Stared at me as if I committed some grave crime.

-------------
To the matas only.

Helloo mata kia, yes, you might have their siren on but that doesn't mean they can beat traffic red breaching the safely of other motorists.
-------------

As I recalled, a friend told me this. He saw a group of teens fighting, so as a good citizen when he happened to see a police car passed by, he frantically stop them, ran up to them and trying to explain what he saw. Guess what did the matas do?

They saw my friend approaching them and they quickly lock their car door (they are inside the car). Mind you, 2 officers with guns against one peasant.

Mata had a little bird,
Little bird, little bird,
Mata had a little bird,
Use it only for show.
And everywhere that Mata went,
Mata went, Mata went,
Everywhere that Mata went
The bird was sure to go.

You people got any heart or not? This Durai chap is already out of job, he got a family to feed, a Mercedes Benz to maintain, first-class air to travel and you folks still can't stop talking about him?

So any suggestion what should be he's next job? How about a plumber who specialize in gold plated taps? Wow, that's sound profitable.

By the way, I always wonder how the NKF gold tap look like? In my house, I have one install as below picture shown.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com (Actually it nothing special, but it do remind of my own preciousness which of course are big and strong)

Or maybe he can be the marketing director at Tong Garden for packager and distributor of nut snacks. Then he can promote all kinds of nuts like cashew nuts, groundnuts, pistachio nuts and of course peanuts.

Speaking of job, my mum asked me how much I earn in a year? I told her less than 30k and she tells me, “You are not even earning peanuts.....it's only the peanut's shell at the most”

Did you guys miss me? Well, I apologize for neglecting you folks, I've been working my ass and blah blah blah with no time to breathe, let alone blog. On top of this, it almost a year since I started writing, I truly deserve a break. Hey, I promise that I'm going to try to be a little more active here, ya.

And YES, it's good to be back.....wowoo. To be total honest, I'm busy with my leisure stuff....not work.

However no matter how busy I am, my family always come first.
It's family day again.

Time: 9:30am
Place: Red Star Restaurant
Location: Chin Swee Road
Crowd: Riot status.
Cover charge: Not applicable.

Went to Red Star Restaurant to try authentic Cantonese tim sum. Here, dim sum is still served off push-carts in the traditional way. You have to chase after all those carts for the dim sum items you like, for chances are they either miss passing by your table, or by the time the carts reach you, the items you want are all gone.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(They shout, while pushing the carts)

The ambiance is in typical Cantonese fashion and the liveliness of this unpretentious restaurant will excite your appetite and prepare you for a sumptuous feast. If you're the type that enjoys browsing through a menu, then a dim sum restaurant is not for you.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com (Mum: You guys all siao, wake up so early on Sunday just to “yum char”)

They even served hot carrot cake on the cart.

For the novice, the noisy atmosphere in a dim sum restaurant can take a bit of getting used to. But it's a great way to sample a large variety of tastes and flavors without feeling overly full.

Damage: $60/- (4 persons)

After our “yum char” session, went back our old block which is just across the restaurant to take a look.

It's like a tour back to the past. Some of our old neighbors recognized mum even though we shifted out 11 years ago. I learned that there this kid, we used to play together. I remember when I last saw him he was just in primary school.

He died last year of an bike accident. He was just 26 years old.

Life is so dynamic and so unpredictable.

Taking a BREAK from blogging.
Will be back in few days time.

Thursday, July 14, 2005

I'm sure you guys heard about the NKF saga, there no need for me to emphasize this. And then there was this Mrs Goh Chok Tong replying to a reporter's query whether gold-tap NKF CEO's pay was excessive, she replied:"$600K is peanuts"

Well friends, guess what?

Last night at the NTUC, I tried paying for my beers and groceries using peanuts but what the fuck, they refused! When I pump in petrol for my van, I tried using peanuts as payment, the staffs there threaten to call police.

My question is why $600K is PEANUT?

Mrs Goh is no more the honourable and dignified lady I used to see. To me now, she is a very ordinary career woman who chases after money and glory. No more, no less.

My lovely nephew came over to my place to spend the night. Playing with him was more exhausting than I attended ship. Basically I had no peace for the night, as I had to participate his activities.

This morning brought him the kid's breakfast at Macdonald's. Children exert a phenomenal influence when it comes to restaurant selection.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(Brought him some toys)

Oh yes, he loves to draw....

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(future artist)

He drew some pictures and I taken some pictures.(Not clear though)

This picture is shocking.........my nephew drew ME.

I learned that sometimes kids can often say the darnest things, in the most innocent of ways, filled with profound lessons that even adults can learn from. In the afternoon, brought him to the beach. See, he doesn't need any video games or any high tech gadget just to be happy. He's only needs a fallen branch, sand and of course his fave uncle.

(Taken from Part one)
Nick: Ah......that's funny. My next question came from Bear. He asked what do you think of your ex-boyfriend? *clearly looking uncomfortable*

Rachel: Good question. He's a loser, big time! He's whiny, pathetic and nobody will care if he's ripped limb from limb. He's like a rat in the drain, menace to society, hazardous to the community.

Nick: *grasp*

Part Two (Continue)

Rachel: I am angry because I put up with my ex for 2 years, when I should have ditched his sorry ass after 2 days! He was like an old woman! Nag, nag, nag...not to mention this freak, would wear sandals with jeans and think he was the perfect model of style. I think my ex was looking for a mother not a lover. *sigh*

Nick: Am I that bad? *afraid to look at Rachel's eye*

Rachel: Huh? No no no, you got all wrong liao. I was referring to the one BEFORE you as you know I have many boyfriends in the past. *counting her fingers*

Nick: I knew it wasn't me. *relieved* I think Bear's question is referring to.........me.

Rachel: Nick, you're a good man. What was Bear's question again?

Nick: What do you think of your ex-boyfriend.....referring to ME.

Rachel: That's a tough one, I must admit. Well, let me think. You know yourself lah, not much good points to say what.

*pause*

Rachel: Apart from satisfy my bedroom desires, I can't think of anything else.

Nick: If you says so. Ok, let's move on the the next question shall we? He asked how you and your ex....I mean ME get started on our relationship? By the way, it's from Roger.

Rachel: Like all love stories, it usually start with a horny man. In your case, an extremely lustful guy.

*both began laughing like lunatics *

Nick: Let's just say I'm sexually motivated.

Rachel: Hoo hoo hoo, you can say that again.

Nick: Here one email from Stephanie. She asked why we broke up.

Rachel: Ya lor, why? I can't remember. *in deep thought*

Nick: You can't? That's because you are asking a lot.

Rachel: I’m worth a lot. *giggle*

Nick: Most definitely, Rachel. Ah Peh got a question to ask you. *checking pc*.

Rachel: I'm listening.

Nick: Since you're in insurance business, what are your view on threatening the clients the possibility of lapsing the policy if stop making premium payment.

Rachel: Hey, at least we don't steal, anyway the government hates competition.

Nick: Honest speaking, I think you're right. Next question came from Old veg. He asked if you can changes one thing in yourself, what will that be?

Rachel: I'm gonna stop procrastinating one of these days.

*both laughing like schoolgirls*

Nick: You can have a good sense of humor there. As for this question, is personally. How is your life now?

Rachel: Sad........

Nick: Do me a favour, dear. Don’t turn your life into a Korean or Taiwanese Drama, ya,

Rachel: *Rachel's eye lit up* You still care about me?

Nick: Yessss!

*Nick & Rachel both lock eyes with each other for a full five to six seconds*

*still maintain eye contact*

*Rachel give Nick a lewd smile*

*Nick stare back with lustful eyes*

*Rachel's eyes roamed over Nick, like a hand*

*In a world without touch, this moment eclipses climax they ever had*

(Suddenly, there a voice from the Nick's pc.......”you got mail”)

Rachel: Kanasai, what's that? *annoyed*

Nick: Nothing, just an incoming email.

Rachel: I think that's all for today, Nick. I'm feeling dizzy right now.

Nick: Last question! Do you still love..............

Rachel: Look Nick, there's a limit to how many brain cells I could kill each day. Any number beyond that, I'll go straight into a coma. So if you don't mind me, I like to excuse myself.

Nick: But......

Rachel: May the lust....I mean the force be with you always.*Rachel's looked perplex*

(With that, Rachel run out with Nick chasing after her. However, she refused any more dealing with Nick as shown in the video below)

Rachel's interview (Part one)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Nick: The highly anticipated and long-awaited interview with Rachel is here, folks. First of all, it was driving me crazy trying to pin Rachel down for an interview. She is always on the move, very hard to get hold of her.

Rachel: Yes, been pretty busy lately. My schedule is tighter than any tupperware product *brush her hands against Nick*

Nick: May I add something dear, you're busy all along since day ONE I know you.

Rachel: *giving a squeeze on Nick's nipple* Ai ya, don't say like that meh.

Nick: Ouch, that's feel good. Err......let's get back to the interview. Here I got lot of emails from readers especially people like Peh, Roger, Bear and Melvin asking tons of questions.

Rachel: Let's get things rolling then.

Nick: Tell me about your work, your belief and yourself.

Rachel: My formula for success is rise early, work late, strike 4D or Toto. I was born in a poor family and...........

Nick: *interrupting* Me too! I was so poor growing up and if I wasn't a boy.....I'd have nothing to play with.

*both laughing hysterically*

Nick: Hey, just came in this email. A question for you. *staring at my pc* It's from Melvin.

Rachel: Really? How did he says?

Nick: Good grief, he asked you how many times you had sex in a month!

Rachel: *grinning shyly* How can ask this type of question? I'm a girl, leh.

Nick: Total agreed! *both hands and legs raise* Listen, Melvin if you trying to be funny, it ain't. Don't let me see you next time for I will push you over and mount you from the rear............

Rachel: *interrupting* Do a doggie style!

*Nick hi-five Rachel and both laugh hysterically again*

Nick: Ah......that's funny. My next question came from Bear. He asked what do you think of your ex-boyfriend? *clearly looking uncomfortable*

Rachel: Good question. He's a loser, big time! He's whiny, pathetic and nobody will care if he's ripped limb from limb. He's like a rat in the drain, menace to society, hazardous to the community.

Nick: *grasp*

End of part ONE

(Part two will post on the 7th June)

Saturday, July 02, 2005

Remember some time back, the big hooha about me going out with my new colleague? Let called her Miss C.H. Well, she's not working here anymore since 1st June, however I still went out with her.

Just to clarify, she got the sack due to her performance got nothing to do with me. In office I ALWAYS surf Internet, post comment in forum, writing my blog and even chat on MSN and sometimes I wonder when will be my turn to get terminate? Not only this, at times went for lunch about 2 hours and in between go for half an hour smoking break!

For you folks who don't know, I'm the only chap in office who openly surf internet, the rest of my colleagues tried to camouflage their habit. So after four years working here, I'm still waiting for management send me packing.

Let's get back to this ex-colleague of mine, Miss C.H.

Do I like her? As the matter of fact, I find her bloody disgusting, no kidding. Why on earth do I still go out with her then must be in everybody's mind. You see, in my blog there's a lady which I took pics with? (hide her face) Well, she is her friend, got to know her because of Miss C.H. When her friend goes out with me, she followed.

It is hers character that is repulsive (not that she tagged along) As the matter of fact, it's gross! The fact is she's 22 years old, pleasing in appearance never had a boyfriend before and still a virgin what's that it tells you?

Let me says again.....she's ok in look and size department.

No idea?

Remember I went to Malacca, there was this Joyce, my mum's friend? Miss C.H remind me a younger version of her. Yuck!
