Went with Bear to watch the movie, “War of The Worlds”
The show is about Aliens mount their global invasion of Earth with their tripod machines (damn tall) were landing all over the globe, attacking and destroying major cities.
Unlike the rest, this movie does not focus on the military side which I think is very good. Who want to see nuclear bomb against aliens or some bush like president making “smart” decision on defending earth? By the way, in the movie, the aliens' machines were invulnerable to our weapons and technology nuclear bomb. So I wonder how humans could survives being exterminated.
So disappointed in the end........nanbei, you know what kill the Aliens?
It's the local viruses and bacteria.
Aliens, supposedly technology were so much better and been observing human races for many million years, not know about the bacteria in the air of Earth?
End of the movie, it show crows flying around the tripod machine and machine just collapse. So what killed them?
What else, bird flu lor.

Topic is still on car.
No, I haven't made up my mind but latest indication show cars prices drop again. Wow, that's good news for me. I seldom take public transport. When I was 19 year old, I already owned a motorcycle and since then have stopped using public transport. Currently, am driving my company's vehicle.
To be honest, I hate public transport .
The endless waiting for buses, have to wait and wait. When you board during peak hours we have to stand all the way and squeeze inside like a sardine. What if there is a collision? Simple!
We will all die...... loh.
MRT are no better. Standing in packed MRT carriages with the unbearable stench of banglahs.....oh my God! (Shit.......I just vomit on my keyboard just thought of that foul odor) Also how can forget the screaming little brats running around.
What really bothers me are the commuters, they rushed in the MRT like running for their life just to snatch seats. They suddenly become blind when the elderlies and pregnant in need. I remember some weeks back when I took MRT to work, I offered my seat to this pregnant lady, I could tell her face seemed surprised. Her expression show she did not expected this at all. I presumed.......nobody in the past had offered her any seat.
Ugly Singaporean.....you name it, we have it.
The only thing missing public transport is checking out the babes. Can rub shoulder or share a seat with pretty gals. Usually they bathe in the morning and smell very nice.
Some have C cup........really make me day....you know what I mean one lah.

Why I want to buy a car?
First brand new car is getting cheaper now. I mean very much cheaper compared half year ago. Also I'm getting transport allowance from my company. It's like paying my monthly installment to my new car.
But most important thing is.........because my job required a car. I can't change job without a car.
Well, haven't decided yet.

I went for a test drive 3 cars altogether.
1) First was the Honda City 1.5. (Damage SGD58,800/-)
I was damn nervous during the test drive as I never driven auto car before. Engaged the gear from N to P as I took over the driver seat.....and I stepped the accelerator, the engine noise grew louder makes me think the car will burst forward.....but it never did move. The sales lady who sat besides me, looked bewildered and said, “Put to D...it stand for drive mode.”
Of course I know....but anyway....freaking embarrassed.
Overall assessment
Strength: Powerful engine, pick up very fast. Superb fuel consumption. Can switch to between auto and manual drive. Yes, it a auto/manual car – fun to drive.
Weakness: The external body is damn ugly. Also, there's no ABS brake and air bags.
Comments: Yuck! Enough said.
2)Then Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6 GLX CVT (Damaged: SGD57,488/-)
This time, I did fared much better. No more silly mistake like engaged wrong gear. However, whenever doing a turn or u turn, I will still use my hand to touch the gear somehow. No choice my instinct for manual car is strong.
Overall assessment
Strength: Very good interior space especially leg room at the back. Best of the 3 cars in term of
spacious. Exterior is excellent as well. This is a very good looking car, I must say.
Weakness: The engine....simply no power. (Worst of the three cars)
Comments: Currently considering this car.
3)Last car was Toyota Vios-Auto (Damaged: SGD56.717/-)
I did a reverse parking and for the first time, I felt it much than easier done than drving a manual car.
Overall assessment
Strength: Good fuel efficiency. Really cheap & value-for-money since getting VVT-I engine. They threw in full body kit.
Weakness: The interior is small. (Smallest of the three cars).
Comments: Currently considering this car.
So......it's boil down to 2 choices for me now.
Either Lancer or Vios. Still undecided yet.

I know I'm supposed to get angry to help circulation my blood since I'm working today(attending ship). But I can't.
In fact, I felt happy. Weird isn't it?
After work met up Roger as he needed my help in choosing his bluetooth device for his pc. Went to Sim Lim Square and Roger wanted to purchase some blank cd disk for storing data as well. Now, most if not all cd is the same. Whether it brand A or brand B so long it can burn data in, it's a good disk.
Roger spend a good 15 minutes inspecting the blank CD. Now what the hell does he needs to evaluate the blank cd like a engineer doing a site investigation? After waiting for him finally I had enough.

Asked him about this........guess what he told me?
He calculating the pack of 50 blank cd sells at $25/- will it be better than 5 blank cd sells at $4.00/-? This is still fine, ok.......but he is doing this EVERY different brands he sees.
(see that whole rows of blank cd)
I mean, call me old fashioned, but I feel like a fruit or a vegetable standing there. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not angry and it I know damn well in saving! But I'm just curious what it's supposed to be in "figuring out" price/cd department.
Grumble at him, finally he relented. Brought his disk and bluetooth device in ten minutes time.
Went for lunch at Suntec City.
(Smiling at me as if I'm a vegetable)
The main propose coming to Suntec is because they have this roadshow of Mitsubishi cars. Never thought of owing a car until few days back.

Currently have 3 cars in mind. Very tempted in owing a Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6 and this car is one of them.

See the picture?

The SAF is doing a rehearsal for this coming National Day Parade. This pics is taken from my office at the 40th floor. At Temasek tower the view is good but apart from this, there is NOTHING worth touching on. Did I mention just going for lunch alone suck? Oh...I think I did.
My friend, Peh came over my place at night for a coffee chat. This chap never failed to amaze me from time to time. Every times we met I actually acquired some kind of knowledge from him. He is one of the rare breed of friends that I have, which I actually learned something new.

Cannot write any more about him for he's one shy and elusive dude but more importantly it's our conversation detail. I can't cannot reveal too much as it is very personal between me and him.
Nope, we are not gay.

My website is one year old and I am amazed actually, it can last until now. When I first created my website started back in 14/06/04, my sole objective was to put up pictures of Rachel. In short, because of Rachel, my website was born.
Then I began to add my friends' pictures and other stuffs in. Initially my intention for my website was to last a week only but began to change my mind as I progress further. I have no knowledge for setting up a website and I learned along the way.
Seeing back all the entries on my blog never failed to bring joy. Lastly, without the support of all my friends probably I would have closed it down long ago.

I was walking along from Fullerton Hotel to Clifford pier and suddenly I heard a scream. I thought it was a man being rape by some Bangladesh workers. Turned around I saw 'victim” himself.

Ah..none other than ”old veg” my good friend. He gave me a hi-five which was his famous signature hand signal. I returned the favor using my signature movement; whipped out my mobile phone and took a pic of him.
It somehow bring him to a higher level of excitement. He removed his safety helmet as you can see in the next picture.

Sitting in his mean machine, like model he offered some posture for me to take.

You know what? He should posed for hair loss advertisement. Took an original picture of him and then have him wearing a wig for after effect.
There you go, we have before hair treatment and after hair treatment effect.

Bear's interview
Nick: My guest for today is someone who is big but not a giant. He may be short but surely not like a dwarf. Andy was his name but better known as Bear to his friend.

Bear: *staring at me*
Nick: Ah Bear thanks for your time and this interview.
Bear: *smiling at me*
Nick: *frown* Ah Bear, ooi talking to you.
Bear: Is it? I don't know. I thought you was talking to yourself. Hey, no need to thank me lah. Oh yes, as you all know, I always tried to be very low profile person. If not you are my good friend, I will avoid this you know.
Nick: Yes...yes.....I know. My faithful readers all would like to know more about you. They say you are handsome, strong and very macho. *going to puke anytime now*
Bear: * looking radiant* Ask me anything you like. I'm not like Melvin, that coward. I would be very happy to answer to the best of my knowledge.
Nick: Wow, you seem prepare, my young apprentice. Let get started. As usual readers get the all the fun by sending me all these questions via emails. First question posted by a reader known as Roger. He wanted to know why do are so soft spoken like a sissy. Why must your friends need to strain their freaking ears just to hear what you got to say.
Bear: *mumbling*
Nick: *ears facing him*
Bear: *mumbling*
Nick: *smack on Bear's head* Speak louder! Don't beat you also cannot.
Bear: Ouch, I just say, I'm like this. Very easy to prey on girls. I speak, they cannot hear. They lean over, this way I can eat a bit of tofu. *looking very pleased with himself*
Nick: How you eat tofu?
Bear: Ai yo, you're so stupid leh. They lean over, I stared at their “drain” lor.
Nick: Cheeky, you. Ladies if you reading you know what to do. Next question is by this chap called Melvin. He wanted to know if you truly blur fu*ck.
Bear: *laughing* What that? Can eat or not? My English not so good you see.
Nick: I understand that. I can answer on your behalf then. To Melvin......YES, he is one big blur bear. This is a confirm case after knowing him for 15 years!
Bear: *looking unsure* . Am I?
Nick: This can debate some other time. My next letter comes from Rachel which is my faithful reader would like to know if you are a gay.
Bear: I don't really know, Nick.
Nick: How come you don't know?
Bear: You know me, no doubt I like girls. But as the same time, I find men just as fascinating as well. *voice sound weak* . Last times, I went to indoor suntan and saw those guys...woooo
Nick: Bear, get out of here. You actually find men stimulating?
Bear: Don't know....*leaning forward to touch Nick's hand* .
Nick: *clearly looking disgust* . Err...Ok, time up. Got to go. This interview is finished. Got a ship to attend. It's OVER.
Bear: So fast?
Nick: But before we go I noticed something I need to ask you.
Bear: Shoot.

Nick: During the whole interview I observed, your legs is open very wide all the time. Why?
Bear: If you have dumb-bells & preciouses is as enormous as mine, you would understand.
*both laughing*
What can I say about Bear, ya. Next week will be Rachel's interview.

It been a long time since Bear appear on my blog. What happen him? Absolutely nothing. In fact we went out few times, catching movies and he even went out with me together with my 22 yrs colleague.
Now Bear is station in Bugis outlet (PrettyFit). By the way, have you folks ever seen a male salesperson in a PrettyFit shop? No sirs, I never.
Went for dinner with him. Just for your info, he's a religious guy. Example, eating “live” prawn, he will not touch. If prawn already dead, can.
Even eating frog congee, he make sure there no “live” frogs on the display. In other words, if he eat, then any animals are to be kill because of him then is a big no no. If animals were already dead before he order, then it ok.
Weird right?
He's like a monk...but not exactly a monk.
Went to Jalan Besar food centre.
(Red is the most emotionally intense colors)
(I'm wearing stripe which mean.....I'm horny)
Bear used to eat turtle soup but not anymore since he turned religious. Asked him why since turtle already slaughter before he order.
Guess what he said?
It was a simple answer.
Bear: Cannot
Me: Why
Bear: Just cannot
Me: I mean why.
Bear: Cannot lah (His expression never change)
Order mutton soup instead. I'm not kidding Bear wanted to order goat's penis unfortunately they don't have.
(now you see it)
(now you don't)
Tomorrow I do an interview with Bear........stay tune.

A platoon friend of mine called up me asked for $300 loan. Nah, he is not the one I'm always talk about. (Always called up once a month to ask for money as if I'm father)
There another chap (also platoon mate) who borrowed from me $200 six months ago and never heard from him since then. Didn't chased him for my money though.
Learn that,
Need you called you brother.
No need you, asked you don't bother.
As for this person, I shall call him Mr L.
Now my dilemma is this, Mr L never borrows money from me before and I should help him tide over his difficult time right?
But as you all know: Money ruins friendship.
Somehow, somewhere money always puts a wedge between friends. It puts me in uncomfortable positions if he doesn't pay up, etc. Let's assume I am a freaking bleeding heart and I can't stand to say no to my friend because I don't want him feeding his wife or children with animals food or leftover.
So what do I do?
If I part with my dough and he doesn't repay, I end up eating with animals food or leftover myself.
Torn between friendship and eating leftover, finally I agreed to lend him $300 and he promised to return on 22 July. Look on the bright side, if he default my loan, since it was insignificant amount anyway, he'll never ask me for money again and he'll stay out of my life.
Last note, helloooo...I'm not operating a money lender business here, ya

I found that something about myself.
As I get older, my preference difference somehow.
I'm talking about women.
I realized intelligent women turn me on more than anything else.
Women with beauty, humor, fashion sense or even with those water melon asset......oops, I'm so unrefined at times.... became insignificant to me now.
How come like this?

I rejected my ex-company's offer because I still can't handle stress. My ultimate goal is not to eliminate stress but to learn how to manage it, unfortunately I'm still in the learning stage.
Since moving to my new office in Shenton way 2 days ago, I began to hate this area already.
I'm not unhappy....I'm just not happy!
What I hate most is lunch time.
a) Found out that walking to your lunch, your clothes was drenched with my own sweaty stench.
b) Realized the huge difference in food prices eating in CBD area.
c) Cannot find space to eat.
e) Must eat fast, strangers eyes were feasting on you as they for their turn for their table.
