I was in Orchard Road and this place was infested of young surveyors bothering you. I'm sure you would have encountered some girls approaching you with a notepad, "Sir, are you a Singaporean?"

This is usually followed by some other senseless questions if you choose to entertain them.

Their silly tactics will be asking you to draw a lucky draw coupon and pretend that you've "won" something and the idiot girl will jump up and down yelling, screaming “you've won!” as if you struck 4D. Then call a supervisor over and he or she will be equally excited, then invite you over to their stupid talk.

In order just to claim the prize, you have to attend a 3 hours talk which you have to fill up a form including your credit card. They tell you if you have credit card you get more freebies. In reality, they knew you're carrying credit cards so even you have no cash to buy for their plan, they will “force” you to sign the dotted line using credit cards instead.

This is a timeshare company, I'm talking about my friends.

I have kanna twice which I listened to their talk however in both occasion I got their free gifts.

What timeshare plan? I don't know.

What free gifts? This, I know.
(I know, I'm a cheap Charlie at times)

I learn how to avoid these pests using the following tactics. If they about to approach you,

A) Put on 'buay song' look, like wanted to pick a fight. They will think twice before approaching. Remember never, ever smile at them even they're are extremely pretty, not only it would be cruel to give them false hope but it also contradicting yourself.

B) Or you can scratch your groin area and grin at them like horny old man.

When all failed, is not lost yet. I have personal tried this and it work!

Girl: Sir, are you available for a quick survey? Only take a few minutes.

Me: Yes, why not (Stare at her breasts).

Girl: "Sir, are you a Singaporean?"

Me: Yes (Stare at her breasts and breathing heavily like Darth Vader.)

Girl: Do you like traveling?

Me: I like places with BIG mountains so to speak. (Still staring at her breast and breathing like Darth Vader at the same time “Slurp” “Slurp”)

Next thing I knew, she gone.

Why so hard of these kids? The thing is we should discourage them from talking of these surveying jobs. They should work in Macdonald, not some scam job.

Please read The Straits Times, there was this man who wrote in.

-----------------------
Excerpt:

Oct 21, 2005
Man overcharged four times in 10 bus rides

It is clear that the Government is on the side of transport operators as nothing was mentioned of penalties for the operators should they persistently overcharge a commuter.

I have been on the receiving end of regular overcharging on SBS Transit bus No. 147 for at least two years.

I have not claimed a cent as it does not make sense for me to travel one hour and spend $1.20 to claim just 20 cents.

Last week I decided to diligently monitor the fare charged for my trip to and from work and I found that out of 10 trips on Bus 147, I was overcharged for four trips, mainly the trip home.

This means that the error rate is 40 per cent, at least in my case. In such an instance, I think the bus operator should be penalized. I fully support Dr Lim Boon Hee's call to the Government to rein in bus firms that overcharge (ST, Oct 19).

I have since accessed SBS Transit's website three times to file my complaints and claims over the overcharging.

It has been a week since I made my first complaint and claim but I have yet to receive a reply from SBS Transit, not to mention the refund.

-----------------------

See what I mean? As I mentioned in my blog before, if commuters can be fined and jailed so heavily, what about the transport companies themselves when fares are deducted falsely?

How come there is no law to punish the transport companies for overcharging? Forgive my ignorance, which countries do you find laws which promises to fine or jail for fare cheats?

The idea of jail term on fare cheat makes my blood boil!

First, the design of the EZ link system to begin with was flawed and we get punish for their freaking flaws. Outrageous!

Revert back to bus conductors is better, lah.

We have lot of paper smart thinkers/scholars but very few practical solution providers. The typical solution is always fine and jail term. I can see our Changi prison will be expanding very soon.

You folks ask yourself, if there ever a chance and choice will you be a stayer or a quitter?

Our meal today was in a Japanese restaurant, safely settled in our seat , here in Parkway Parade, I've met up with Rachel. Her birthday was 3 days ago, so it was pretty obvious I should treat her a nice meal on top of my present for her since I'm late.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
(Wearing spec, what a turn on...hahah)

How long I haven't seen her? A couple of months, I suppose.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
(As usual, women like to be in charge of food)

As usual, she is in a very chatty and lively mood. She query me about my girlfriend, Angel and I pry into her personal affairs like her current boyfriend. Hey, I'm so glad her boyfriend is sincere and treats her well, otherwise I send my 2 Jack Russels to assault him.

(By the way, I was known as papa by the 2 dogs. Angel always said to the dogs," go to papa" hahaha)

You guys know what did I buy for her?

(Wrap nicely in a box)

Not ordinary name card holder.........it's from a Louis Vuittion.

Yesterday, I went in a LV boutique, spend just five minutes browsing the items and I chose it in another 5 min. Asked for the price, the salesperson took a catalog a record collection and said, “Sirs, it's $375”

Just a name card holder and costs me a freaking $375? Oh boy, just one word folks,......”STREAM!” with a capital S. After hearing the price, it's got me so excited and I could feel myself getting wet and my penis head was bigger than my own head.

After 1 min of silence, I finally said....

Me: Wrap it up (with style)
Saleperson: Credit card or cash?
Me: Card.
Saleperson: Present? I wrap it for you.
Me: Can just give me just this item and forget about the wrapping, can cheaper?
Saleperson: @-@

Anyway, back to the meal......

(Yum yum)

(Rachel was asking me what I want to eat)

(I turned off the sound)

After dinner, we went for a drink to engage in small talk before sending her back to her boyfriend's house.

(Can see, she's tired)

All along after our breakup, I felt somewhat guilt for reasons unknown but after tonight knowing she is well taken care of , it's get off my chest. I'm finally relieved.

In this year, I have been dating several women in their early 20s, including Angel (not her real name). I noticed our Singapore modern woman are now as well educated and earning as much as men. But the more knowledgeable the girl is,.....the more screw up it was.

Compare most olden women (In the 70s or 80s) and current modern women.

Most olden women gave birth as they believe in having a family.
Most modern women do not want to have any children.

Most olden women first love is probably her husband.
Most modern women's love list is longer than SQ flight passenger list.

Most olden women can cook.
Most modern women can cook too, ONLY instant noodle.

Most olden women take care of their family.
Most modern women can't even take care of themselves.

Most olden women clean the house, spick and span.
Most modern women only know how to clean their face (Going facial)

Most olden women help husband in support the household.
Modern women say, your money is mine and my money is mine.

Most olden women educate their children with good manner and moral.
Most modern women themselves don't have good moral.

Most olden women spend time with family.
Most modern women want her own space.

Most olden women take care of their husband if he ever came home drunk.
Most modern women who is drunk more often these days.

Give you a classic example.
I think, just one is enough liao.

I was at Angel's house helping her mopping the floor. She don't mop her floor much and keep telling me how I should mop the floor! Come on, for those people who ever been to my house should know how clean my house floor was.

She's like like teaching a fish how to swim, really.

Ok, nevermind. And the best part was, she put washing clothes detergent instead of floor cleaning detergent in the mop bucket. Asked her why?

She said, “Use this also can what.”

Ah, our Singapore modern women really no horse run.

It's my mum's birthday today. My mum is one woman who deserves Nobel prize for being mother!

Went for dinner to celebrate the birthday of our esteemed Matriarch with my sister and brother in-law. Unfortunately both my brothers were overseas, so................

(Everybody so eager to pose)

(I think mum is very hungry)

Cost me $158.

Come to think of it, this is the first time I'm paying. Hahaha. My sister already gave mum a treat her couple of days back ($50) and then my brother in law on Sunday treat her Italian meal(over $100) and now tonite my turn. Wow!

My mum, she's the most amazing woman created on this planet.

- She taught everybody in the family to be being practical, about being decent and about working hard.

- She raising us almost single handedly.

- A special wonderful inspiring Mum.

- Her love to us is timeless.

- She never says “I'm tired” when we asked her a favor

- Her hug is so magical

Mum, you're truly the wind beneath my wings.

Happy birthday,

MUM!

Came back home at 4pm after working off my ass from 2:30am. This is the first time, for the past 2 weeks I came back home so early. So I'm not going fill in what's happening to me for the last 3 days.

I'm just too tired to write.
I'm just too tired to think.
I'm just too tired to do anything.

Finally I have taken some pictures taken from my W800i.

So today after work, went to Angel's place and we took the 2 dogs for a walk.

(Look like guinness pig, rite?)

This is my currently lifestyle and go to her place after work. Clean up the mess at her house(dog's shit) and bring the dogs for a walk.

It's sucks, really.

Friday, October 07, 2005

I was given dressing down by Angel over phone in the afternoon. My goodness, she really wield the rulers or cane like teacher giving reprimanded to schoolchildren. Over the phone, I heard her nag and even threatening me. Then she slam the phone. She waited a moment, call me again and then lecture started all over again.

Wau piang en.

What happened?

All started because I told her a lie. The way I see it, it's my "Intelligence failure" By the way, it's really unimportant lie, no harm done whatsoever to her. She is more intelligent than I anticipated. (I was caught in telling lie.)

Women never failed to amazing me. They have a photographic memory and remember every single thing no matter how big or useless it is.

Last thing, I think she is trying to control me. Will she succeed?
I hate to disappoint her........I think not.
.

Thursday, October 06, 2005

I endure til I endured no more. After spending slightly more than a year together, we went our separate way. What I needed is something new, something robust. I found it, brought it.

My new mobile phone W800i.

This phone is awesome! It's sleek and and powerful, it's the best regular phone out there right now. So this with the top-of-the-line features and a truly stylish body leaves other regular phones in the dust.......miles away. I was given 2 x 512MB memory stick, with it 2-mega pixel camera, I could take tons of pictures...not forgetting my mp3.

No time to play or take any pictures as yet......been busy like I always do.
.

Tuesday, October 04, 2005

After work, went to Angel's house and together we brought the dogs for a walk. It's was kind of romantic to be total honest, holding hands together while walk the dogs. Hahaha

Last night, she told me that she's was afraid of what I said. I told her she got a nasty temper however I am even worst when I lose control of myself.

I simply cannot tolerate temperament girl, period. I rather be a monk if this world left with only attitude female. Anyway, we reached an agreement so we are together as BF/GF.

Need to confess, what I feel is only lust not love at this point of time. Before you folks start cursing me that I cheated this a young girl........I can tell you that she's no saint herself.

Trust me.

Also I do not foresee we can last more than one month together. Any longer will consider a miracle.

Sunday, October 02, 2005

The next morning I opened the bedroom door slowly and the dogs smelled my presence immediately came over. Saw their waging tails I know it safe to come out to the living room. Ya, they recognized me. What a relief!

These 2 Jack Russel, I must say, their funny gesture continually amuse me, their intelligence seems to know no bounds and their assertive nature and boundless energy can at times be overwhelming. I am beginning to like these 2 dogs.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(I have been licked like I never felt before)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(I like dogs already)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(Staring her owner)

Together we brought the dogs for breakfast and now I think it's fun bringing dogs out for a walk. Hey, now I even dare to carry them knowing I have their trust.

Anyway, what a boring Sunday for me. There is no SVC, no internet, no pc just sleep most of the day...if not, played with her dogs. Oh yes, I kenna a mosquitoes bites on my thigh, damn what if this is belong to dengue mosquitoes?

Took this when we went for dinner without the dogs.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

She always led the way, no compromise. WTF.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

She is quite weird, I reckoned. Come to think of it, she's very eccentric. I'm not going to reveal what it was at this point of time.

Went back her place to kiss the dogs before headed back home. Oh ya, before going back home, I did tell her my patience with her was running very thin. She is one unreasonable female.

However, I can still endure her for the time being.
Well, lust is blind.

Saturday, October 01, 2005

After work, went to Angel's house at 3pm. She changed the itinerary for the weekend because she is tired and needed sleep...a lot of sleep. I can understand, for almost every night, she slept about 3 hours. (Alternate between school & work)

Like I said, her rented house is poorly furnished, bore few traces of orderliness. Her place was like a empty nest. Got no air-con , no kettle, no fork & spoon, no plate or even cup. Sadly, I myself have never been able to live this kind of conditions. Like a part time maid, I sweep the floor and mop it.

Use only clean water to mop as the house has neither disinfectant nor any cleaning solution to speak of. To make the matter worse, the mop head has only less then 10 pads. Fucking pathetic!

After dinner pick up her dogs at the pet boarding. She asked me to help her carry and tie her Jack Russel before going for a walk. Told her I'm afraid of dogs apparently she's don't care. Nanbei, she gave me a such a task, what's a trauma treatment. No way, I'm going touch her dogs.

No way, man. (Actually she has 3 dogs but she took only 2 back home)

Took the dogs for a walk and halfway she suddenly she passed me the leash. Phobia, anxiety and fear took over me. What to do?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com (Me holding on the dog's leash)

After walk, we all went back to Angel's home. So at night, the three of them (Angel & 2 dogs) was watching TV and I, was observe attentively the 2 dogs. What a freaking torture, had to remain motionless in case the 2 dogs see me as threat. Can I relax when one of them actually growl at me? I think not.

Angel has a bad temper, will tell you folks more later. For example keep grumbling why I'm so afraid of her dogs. Told her many times, since young I always have fear of dogs and I never handle any dogs before prior until NOW. Further more, ever heard of barking dogs seldom bite? Her dogs don't bark but growl whenever neighbor walked past. Do she get it? No sirs!

Finally, I asked her why she is horrified at sight of lizard since it was harmless and it don't bite unlike dogs. You should look at her expression......nothing to say.
Haha

Score - Nick 1 : Angel 0

About my reference about this girl working part time waitress in a pub, she will stay anonymous and I shall name her Angel.

Came looking for me after my work in Shenton way today and she is still wearing her ITE school uniform! Apparently, she held my hand when we cross the road in the busy Shenton way street. I felt freaking embarrassed to be honest cos I can sensed all eyes were feasting on me. Me, holding hands with a girl in school uniform!

MY GOD!
Feel like jumping on a moving car and kill myself.

Although lying is my part of my surviving tools but during dinner finally I told her my actual age. She said she don't mind.

Huh? What can I do?
Since she wants to continue this “game”, I bravely accept.
So we had our first kiss.

Send her to work in the evening and I went to another pub with my friends. At night, while I was in another pub, she called and asked to me to sleep over her place tonight.

Huh? What can I do?
Since she wants this “game”, I again accept.

Her rented house is poorly furnished and in a mess. Maybe it just me because those friends of mine whom been to my place should know my high standard in term of neat and tidiness. So after settled everything, she went to bathe and I explored her house.

She shouted while she is in bathroom, asking me to sit in the living room and not turn my head because she will be wrapping herself in a towel. (From bathroom to her room)

Huh? What can I do?
I obeyed.

Minutes later, she turned off the light in her bedroom and asking me to join her in bed. I looked at the clock, it was 4:30am.

I went in.
It's was pitch-dark.
Even I can't see my hands when I place infront of me.
Slowly but surely, I saw a figure sitting on her bed with her back facing me.
It was motionless.
Gear grip me suddenly.
I move closer to get a better look.
She was fully naked.

I'm not making this up folks and like I said, “Huh, what I can I do?”

So what did I do? We just slept, I did absolutely nothing.

Sound irrational and absurd, given the reputation that I am a “buaya” and this kind of temptation, I did nothing?

It's true, simply because I don't have a condom with me.

I left her house for work in the morning for work. As for Saturday and Sunday, follow as plan as I mentioned yesterday.
.

Thursday, September 29, 2005

Recently I knew this girl working part-time in a pub as a waitress. She's a local, 22 years old and still studying. Met her 3 times during my visit to this pub (As I'm typing this, it's only 3 times). Oh, yes she looked like any girl next door, pretty average.

1) Got her number when I first met her but never called her.
2) Met her the second time in the pub and after that we started exchanged sms.
3) After the third time when I met her (pub), our sms is getting mushy and we began to chat on the phone as well.

Guess what?

She invited me to stay over at her place this coming weekend!

Currently, what I do know about her.

She rented a place outside to stay and her landlord will be flying to another place for a month, therefore I can go up her place (landlord forbid any guys visitors). Also her landlord do not allow her to keep dogs in her house unless she's not around (overseas) and thus she kept her dogs in the pets boarding.

Did I mention, she's a Singaporean?

I asked her why she chose to stay alone and her answered was, “Tell you when I know you better”. After that, I never asked again.

For our first date this coming weekend, she also came up with this itinerary for both of us.

Saturday – She suggest we meet up and watch movie. After that have our dinner proceed to collect her dogs from the pet hotel. Together we bring along her 2 Jack Russel for a walk before headed back her place. Spend the night over there.

Sunday - In the morning, have breakfast together at the coffee shop near her house and in afternoon she want to revise her school work while I'll be at her place watching TV or play with her dogs. In the evening after dinner, I go back home first and she will send back her 2 Jack Russel to pet boarding before she going to work (part-time waitress).

Are you folks, shocked?
I am definitely.

First of all, I never dated a student before, after joining the work force.

Secondly, I never dated her before and our very first dated, I get to spend in night at her place just 2 of us!

Thirdly, I am freaking afraid of DOG! There 2 Jack Russell terrier. (Oh ya, I remember she told me she own 2 dogs and I asked her what MODEL. She told me should be called, breed not model. Hahaha, what a freaking disgrace.)

Lastly, she don't even know how old I am. (She did asked me, but I lied)

Amazing, isn't it? Our education system is pretty much screw up, I guess.

So, will I be spending the weekend at her place? Of course, I got nothing to lose and in fact I was thinking to whether along necessary precaution like........(figure out yourself)

Will field report after the weekend. Stay tune.

This morning I was having breakfast in a coffee shop at Chinatown, there was this man came over to my seat grinning at me. Took me a while to register who is he. Ah.......he is my sec 4 classmate. You do your own math to know how long I haven't seen this man.

I did a quick analyze on him and he has a bald spot on his forehead. It shocked me total simply because during my secondary school days, he is considered one of the the handsome hunk around. Now he looked so....old now. He's now married with 2 kids. How time files.......

We chatted and he asked me if I'm married. I said, “No”. Then he go on saying unmarried men in are rather pervert, kind of unbalance in their thinking.

Him: You know, most of my colleagues are bachelors in their 40s and 50s.

Me: Ok

Him: They are gay. Eeeeeiee

Me: Ya lor

Him: Cannot imagine doing each other. Phui

Me: True

Him: Have a girlfriend now?

Me: Nope

Him: You're into this as well, I mean that gay stuff?

Me: (I nearly spilled on my coffee) Of course not, man!

Him: Really?

Me: Hello, do I look like gay

Him: Can't tell, in all honestly.

I am emotional disturbed, folks. Better don't out with Bear too often.

Long time no see this Melvin, haven't go out with him in donkey's months. The last time I went out with him my wrinkles haven't taken up resident on my face yet. Pick him up at his work place in Shenton way and we're off for lunch.

We had bak ku teh (pork rib tea soup) in Tanjong pagar complex. This is a classic Singaporean treat! As I sipped the broth and spooned it over my rice, my bowl of bak ku teh was topped off with more hot, peppery broth. Damn good services and Melvin nodded his approval.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(Behind his smile, there wrinkles)

As I study Melvin just below his eyes, fine lines was everywhere and his arms had pigmentation spot. Goodness me, he is in even worst conditions than I am.

We're are getting old!
This is end of the world!

After lunch, went to Shaw centre to collect my lap backpack and proceed to Far East Plaza. We shopped there while waiting for Bear to join us. When Bear finally arrived, it's like “X-Men United"

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(Lady in pink likes to pose, apparently)

After some small talk, we the 3 Amigos mingled with the crowds devoted our time to "look see, look see" activity in Far East Plaza.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(Bear likes shopping)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(Melvin likes it better)

You know, the clothes there is very trendy but it's not suitable for the 3 middle age amigos. Meant for teenagers so you guess it, no buy.

As we were walking and intended to cross over the DFS Galleria, I spotted my Brother, his wife and my nephew. Very surprised to bump into them and situation like this, of course I dragged my nephew along for mini tour in Orchard. He, too wanted very much wanted to spend some time with me. I am his fave Uncle.

So 3 amigos movie has been rename to 3 men and a child.

No need to write too much as pictures tell a thousand stories, right?

Personally, I found out that bringing a kid along was quite fun. Have I been any different today from my usual self? Of course! With my nephew around, my eyes constantly fix on him instead of some chick's boob.

My behavior tend to alter when with kid. I am better discipline, more civilize.

(My sixth sense tells me, Melvin likes to be film)

Clearly, the star of the day was NOT the 3 Amigos but my nephew!

There is a new proposed amendments to the Public Transport Council Act introduce in Paraliament. Bus, taxi fare cheats could end up in jail!

Amazing, isn't it? I reckon ¼ of the Singaporean will do time at least once in their life time. Is this the Swiss standard of living we are talking about? So much so for compassion and grace society.

It says,

Bus companies, for example, lose an estimated $9 million a year to fare cheats. Typically, a dishonest commuter taps his ez-link card on the exit reader well before his intended stop. This way, he is charged a lower fare.

My comments,

How do the bus companies arrived at this figure?

$9 million a year is about $25,000 a day. Assuming everybody cheat 10 cents, that 250,000 commuters cheat each day! Now, if really that many, how do they know?

Was 250,000 commuters caught cheating? If not, how do they arrived at this figure? NKF also told us, their reserves can only last 3 years but in fact it could last 20 years.

The bus companies spent millions implement ezlink system and yet they are still ineffective against cheats. Despite all the overcharging by ezlink, forgotten to tap when alighting therefore the full fares was collected and yet losing $9 million a year to cheat?

Is this a joke???

Ezlink was setup to reduce the 1 million dollars lost annually for bus fare cheats after setting up instead lose $9 million year? EZ link system that is supposed to solve the problem of cheating, and yet, after spending millions on this system they still cannot solve the problem.

The EZ link system is expensive and doesn't deliver its promise.

What if the bus company overcharge the commuters? Do the drivers or one of their management go to jail?

Very soon, we will need to pay for parking and COE for our bicycle.

This day will come, I tell you.

Last week, was staring at the mirror while shaving, I saw something that freaked me out. I stumbled upon of great important! I surveyed once more and established what was the find of the decade!

There was this few damned crease line decided to take up residence on my face! It was a wrinkle! I have ageing lines near my eyes! God save me!!!

And who cares if it was a wrinkle, hello, I do.........now.

I always swore I would embrace the procession of time and the wisdom that came with it. I would age gracefully just as my friends have. Then I discovered my first crease line and freaked me out. I said the first thing that popped into my head. "Shit"

What's more astonishing was, listen to this. I spoke about this to a friend of mine, he's around my age and he already started using those prevent fine lines and wrinkles cream years back.

He recommended me to use Nivea product for men.

Then I told another friend (around my age) about my problem and he is using Nugeno face lifting cream to prevent wrinkles!

My goodness!

Serious, I don't expect normal men unlike those in the celebrities business to apply anti-ageing product on top of after-shave lotions. I guess men are more aware of their appearance now and many use their wife's creams.

What's more unexpected was........finally, I brought some anti-wrinkle and radiant youth essence myself.

Darn....this is so unbelievable.

Recently, I started checking for any potential baldness sign and few years down the road, I reckon, viagra will be on my list as well.

Sigh!

You know what is the hottest news in Singapore right now?
Dengue mosquitoes!

What's so scary about this dengue fever is that, it may be fatal. Picture this, you eat healthy, stay healthy and kanna this maybe you're gone for good.

Nothing will stop the dengue mosquitoes from breeding in these weather. In fact, there no countries had succeeded in stopping this annoying mosquitoes. One of the truly remarkable facts about mosquitoes is their ability to adapt. Ever wish those pesky little creatures would just go away permanently?

Don't count on it. Mosquitoes have been around for more than millions of years. They are able to adapt and refine accordingly and thus stand the test of time.

The one thing, I can't stand mosquitoes is, they tend to leave bites on your tender parts especially the crotch area .........you'll get the idea when the itchiness kickoff. I often wonder why this damn pests like to bites that area so much.

Finally, I know why.

Only female mosquitoes suck......blood, male mosquitoes don't.

I read up from Channel News Asia website that local celeb Sharon Au goes back to school.

It says,

1) The 30-year-old, who is a regular face on MediaCorp TV Channel 8 variety shows, is leaving at the end of the month.

2) A former straight-A student, she was awarded the scholarship by MediaCorp about five years ago.

3) She has to go now because the scholarship contract expires this year.

------------------------------------------------

I says,

A) It's good news for the viewers. We no longer have to endure her acting cute at the age of thirty.

B) Her acting/hosting skills not to mention her Mandarin is SI BEI AU

C) I can watch Ch U safety again knowing I will not get any seizures simulated by her.

It's hard to believe that its been months since my visit to JB. Bear needed a good massage over there and I can't let him go alone, can't I?

Like a schedule, we followed our routine strictly especially if it involves good food. First stop was the curry fishhead. For unknown reason, I think it's taste better than the average curry fishhead sold in Singapore.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

You guys read it all before too often, so what's new? Nothing.
Taste was just as good. Nothing more, nothing less.

Bear wanted to have Thai tradition massage, unfortunately it was not open. What is a Thai massage? Well, you start by laying on your back, and the therapist uses gentle compression and stretching techniques to open up your body, beginning with you legs.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Now you know, Bear like being torture. If he ever was caught in a war by our enemies, I'm very sure he will not reveal any information. He can withstand any abuse throw in at him. I'm sure of that.

How about me? I don't go to that extreme. I never like stretching, yes I'm afraid of pain. We opt for Chinese massage instead.
Damage: RM60/- (1 hrs)

After a good relaxation, it is time for dinner. Been to this place whereby they served raw food on hot stone.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(Bear is cooking like chef)

Nothing to write about this place as I did mentioned before.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(Mine, I like it raw)

The clip below: Ah Bear's face is damn serious. He is obvious have a lot of passion, patience and pride in his cooking. In real life, he never pick up a pan before.

The clip below: Bear was teaching me how steak should be cook. The man is pleased with himself and his steak. As for my steak, I just leave it one side to cook. Not too cook, medium rare will do.

Rachel sent me an email couple of days back asking me why I did not do a write up for the Project Superstars. To be honest, I seldom watch CH 5, Ch 8 & Ch U ever since I subscribed to svc. But I know that this show is quite a phenomenon as everybody seem talking about it. Even the aunties (cashier) working in 7-11 near my place was asking me if I'm rushing home to watch Superstars when I brought my cigarettes.

So do a late comment on Superstars as Rachel requested.

Actual fact, I did catch a little bit of this show this season says about 10 min each time. I don't listened to the contestants sing (switched to other channel) instead I wanted hear out what the judges said.

Before I forget, I notice when the male contestants were vote out, they always cries like a child as if their fave toy being taken from them. Why so emotional?

About the judges.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Li Wei Song - Err.......I'm not a fan of Chinese song so I don't know what is his achievement in Chinese music. I know he used to be a singer/writer so how many hit song he got under his belt? Can he really sing better than those contestant? Is he hotter than Sun Yan Zi or Ah Du in his heyday? No? But I know one thing, he loves talking. Of all the Judges, he talked the most.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Li Fei Hui – Wau lau, this guy BEST! What's this guy's profession? He appeared more than those Getai singers performing during the hungry Ghost festival. He's looked so Hokkein and so peng. Is he a Hokkien singer in disguise? His smile is so....imagine u're a gal and he smile to you. You know what he want liao.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Ye Pei Fen - Looked like educated old Ah Lian to me. Read up and found out she came in tops in Talentime many many years back. She won that only competition and that time, our policemen still wearing short pant. Spend a lot of time revolves around criticizing how inappropriate the contestants dresses and I think her dressing is far worst than anyone else Take a look at her bombastic hairstyle, you will understand.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Fang Zhong Hua – His grading was quite biased, I figure. Enough said.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Xu Huan Liang – His comment is short and sharp. Therefore, I'll short and sharp as well. No comment.

In the end, Weilian won. It's a fact that Kelly performed better and even the judges were agreed. Kelly has out dance, out sing Kelvin whereby he just stand there & sing. Some said, he got the advantage over Kelly because he's visually handicapped and attracts sympathy votes.

In my opinion, it's the votes that count. You see, it's not all about "technical abilities" on the day of the competition. If it were, we could have Talentine back, why bother with public vote? The judges and recording company could decide who the winner then.

At the end of the day, I guess Weilian have charisma and “renqi” to exert a certain influence on vote.

It's goes same with any person campaigned for election. However I have no idea why G. Bush was elected 2nd term in office. He does not possess any of the above mention.

I had a bad dream last night. It was really really bad. This nightmare, neither was the ghosts nor the atmosphere that scared me but rather it was my own self.

I dreamed myself committed murder.

In this dream, I killed 3 men all by slitting their throat, blood was dripping profusely on the floor and I watched them bleed to death. I have no idea why I did it, but I remember I felt no fear or remorse.

The only concern was how to run from the law. Fear then gripped me like a cold hand over my heart and it was more than fear, it was a pathological terror. I guess this is how fugitive feel.

Why I have this dream?
Why can't I control my dream?
Why can't I dream about my sex fantasy instead? How fun it would be then, sigh.

I was dispatched to the ship via a launch, my objective was to board the ship. In this mission, things can go wrong. Nope, I was not in my reservist training rather it's my job if I have vessel to attend.

Trust me, things can go wrong when out in the sea. Heavy rain, strong wind and bad current may capsize big vessel, let alone small launch. Even one is a extremely good swimmers, but against mother nature he's as helpless as a baby.

For those larger boat is not safe even when alongside. I took these pictures when I was in Clifford Pier on my way out. She was sank off at Clifford piers jetty.

My launch is about five times smaller than the capsize boat. What you think of my chance out in the open sea if there's an accident? Just on the record, there are no life jacket available in some launch.

Damn, I'm putting my life on the line for my work. Not worth it.

Stephanie was at Temasek Tower in the afternoon. Since I've shifted here, haven't seen her quite awhile. Everytimes we met, l felt like she interrogate........interrogate was such a strong word. Let me rephrased that. I felt like she conducting an interview for job candidates. Asking me questions from work to my leisure time and even my date.

Took pictures of her for my blog and it's my incompetent, somehow she managed to snatch my mobile phone and deleted off her pics. I can see, she is getting aggressive these days. Possibly suffer from gamehobia? A fear of marriages.

Yes, she getting married soon.

I remember that I haven't done my interview on Stephanie in my blog, so I employed a more amiable approached first since she exhibited extremely violent behaviors.

Me: So tell me, when are you getting married?

Stephanie: Not sure.

Me: Huh, I thought you already applied for house?

Stephanie: Yeah, but still not so soon.

Me: Well, your boyfriend is sure one lucky chap.

Stephanie: Of course.

(Sensing she's getting more comfortable, I decided to commence my interview)

Me: You don't mind me asking......how your sex life?

Stephanie: I'm a professional, a financial planner, you know.

Me: I know.

Stephanie: I'm a professional, a financial planner, you shouldn't ask.

Me: Why?

Stephanie: Because I'm a professional, a TOP financial planner.

Me: So?

Stephanie: Why do you always ask about sex, I wonder?

Me: It's increase my viewership.

Stephanie: Let's just say, can fish survive without water?

*Both of us laughing like a pair of hyena*

(Anyway my conscience is getting the better of me these days, I settled for today.)

Me: Nevermind, we have another interview some day.

Look at the video below, she's very camera shy.

(She actually smile)

Nevermind folks, I'll get a full interview with her.

Some friends especially Rachel used to comment, my self-esteem and confidence is higher than taking my IQ or EQ test. I think it can reflected in my body language as well. Somehow they don't seem the same enthusiasm that I have. To some of them, my self-confidence projected arrogance.

Yes, confidence is contagious but so is lack of confidence. My self-confidence won't cross the line into over-confidence or arrogance state.

I used to lack of any self esteem or confidence when I was in my secondary school days. Felt like a wimp with people walking all over you, take advantage or just ignore you. Whatever I needed to do something, I asked. Afraid, I might made any error. On the street, I'm was intimidated of being seen simply because I thought my clothes looked dreadful.

My life had no meaning. I was unhappy, self destructive, unsatisfied and aggressive.

All that changed after I had my first job, in shipping. I was given the opportunity by my boss and his faith in me is even more crucial than confidence.

If back then, I would never have written any blog, afraid my English, vocabulary, grammar and writing skills cannot make it.

But now, I DON'T REALLY CARE!

Seriously, faith and confidence are an unconquered army. It's how the way you look at and feel about yourself.

Take a look at the picture below.

Had lunch with 2 of my friends which I knew them during National Services time. Ah Lam and another chap from another platoon. Needlessly to say, this three amigos are in our mid-thirties liao.

DAMN, I forgot to take picture of our shoes. It's because THREE OF US all wore the same brand, cutting and design! Only colour separate us.

What's brand would 3 middle age men wear to work?
Converse high tops!

We are middle age men and yet wear converse exclusively to work?
Boys will be boys.

Wondering what happen to the gal that I took pictures with?
Let me refresh your memory.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Apparently, haven't seen her for 2 weeks and been avoiding her. Why? Went out with her for 2 months, I realized she got his habit I simply CANNOT stand.

She loves sms to her friends or vice versa even we're in the cinema!

She received sms every 5 minutes, be males or females, she duly responded. Even there no sms, she would open her pouch, check her mobile if there was any messages for her every ten freaking minutes!!

Initially, I disregard as I believe never stand between a female and her virbrate mobile phone. But as times goes by, I feel like a moron being high all the time. There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.

I'm tired of all this nonsense however I never expressed my disapproval. For 2 weeks, been avoiding her like saying got ship to attend and I even dare not online my MSN messenger.(We used to chat during office hours)

Apparently she does not take the hint, she sms me today asking me why didn't get in touch with her or online my messenger? My goodness, what am I suppose to say?

Like, "Hey I don't like you sms, it's like you having a virtual sex partner out there?" Currently thinking what is the best solution.

One final note that I observed during the last 10 years of dating. I found out prettier girls are more easier to date than those below average. Those gals who are way below in looks department were the hardest to date.

I'm not kidding, it's based on my experience.

For the last 2 months, I've been very hectic with my activity like going to KTV & pub. Possibility within a week, I can “chiong” 2 to 3 times! This exposure, of course took its toll on my body, brain and my wallet. I never wrote any entry on this before and I thought, probably I will cease all clubbing pursuit by end of this month, I might well write at least once.

Let me start off my so-called extracurricular on last Friday after work. Initially was going to a pub but my friend suddenly shifted his attention to this KTV as there were his “kakis” Unfortunately for me, I knew them as well so.....

Time: 8:30pm
Types: KTV
Damage: High

Been this particular KTV before. There were more than 10 of us guys and of course it's not those family KTV. Inside were like United Nation because there were hostess there were with multiple nationality like Singaporean , Malaysian, Vietnamese or PRC

Image hosted by Photobucket.com(semi nude, hostress)

Took of her top/bra and dance. Trust me, this ain't nothing yet. I remember there another KTV even outrageous. Taking photo/video with them is not a problem as they are very liberal....I really mean it.

This place absolutely bored me to death. My first encounter in these type of KTV was more than 10 years ago but as I get older, all this became irrelevant as I rather have an intelligent conversation instead. I'm not going to another KTV ever again, I swear!

Left the place 3 hours later with a friend and proceed to a pub at Tanjong pager.

Time: 12:00am
Types: Pub
Damage: Medium

I had been to this pub only for 5 times. Got to know this waitress, she's only 20 years old. (Her name is Joyce) I learned all this years of clubbing......talking about dirty/sex never failed light up any the atmosphere. Tonight, she wore those bareback top with jean and her back was completely bare! Damn, she was hot and sexy!

After her work at 2:30am, left the place with her. Together with my friend, we went to Red cafe.

Time: 3:00am
Types: Disco
Damage: Medium

Three of us went to Devil bar for some chill out time. Seriously, I didn't know nowadays here they open til 6:00am. Actually I didn't know a lot of things. Like I asked this Joyce why she didn't dance, she said, “ My stick on bra will drop” while she holding her 2 busts.

My God, Singapore modern girls now are so outspoken!

So in one night, I went to 3 places to drink. At this rate, I wouldn't live past 40s. Currently, cutting all entertainment with the exception of going to one pub.

I just came to realize now it's the Ghost Month. The gates of hell open wide and the spirits or hungry ghosts are allowed a month of feasting, wander to seek food on Earth.

Hungry Ghost festival is a popular occasion that is taken very seriously by the Chinese. Some even think that the ghosts would seek revenge on those who had wronged them in their lives. The reason why the Chinese celebrate this festival is to remember their dead family members and pay tribute to them.

Now I had this dream for the past few night. I dream of my buddy, TEE. It's seem that he wanted something from me that I haven't give it to him yet. After few night of pestering by him, finally I know what he wants.

According to TEE, he came to visit me 2 times already which was last year and this year. He did visits Bear's house as well. Now he would like to pay Melvin a visit and he don't have Melvin' s house address.

He is really piss off, I can tell by his tone.

Been to Melvin's house once and I lost his address, nevertheless being as resourceful that I was, I use GOOGLE to search of Melvin's address and hallelujah, I found it.

To safeguard Melvin's privacy, I'm not revealing his full address here. His address is Blk 507x, Wellington Circle, #x2-14x S(7515xx)

I did asked TEE, of all our platoons mate, why look for Melvin whom just a mere acquaintance (he knew Melvin through me). He didn't say anything, he just stare at me. He looked so......thin and pale. Leaving me no choice, so today I wrote down Melvin full address and burned together with some offering (paper money) to my buddy, TEE.

He should be appeases now. He should pay a visits to Melvin anytime now.

Melvin, ask you something.
Did you borrow money from Tee before he passed away?

Nathan has been re-elected to a second six-year term in office as President. He is the ONLY candidate qualified to stand for election, having been issued the Certificate of Eligibility by the Presidential Elections Committee.

There were three others who filed for the certificate were rejected which mean we have no election.....yet again.

As a Singaporean, I thought I have the power to vote for my elected president this time. But at the end of the day, I am just like everyone here, we have no say at all.

The majority of Singaporeans should be the one to decide who should be the president and why the election committee can override the majority interests? If this is the case, I urge this Presidential Election system to be cease. It's a waste of people's money and time to stage such wayang.

If Kuan is as bad as the newspaper said, then let him go into election and let the people vote and decide. Why afraid? If Nathan is good, he will win hands down for sure, so why worry about that Kuan?

I suspect if Kuan are allow to run for president, he probably will win...BIG.

By the way, is it still necessary to have a President? Paying over 2 millions for his salary? We can save all the money! During National Day Parade get our PM to stand there and if not, our D.PM also can do.

On a more serious note, I don't think any erection election to make any different here. Whether it's the storekeeper, some retired tutor or even some chap selling roti prata becomes President, it still won't change our life for the better. Period.

Still there's nothing more piss off than this.
There goes my public holiday!

Honestly, I can't believe that it has already been a year. Actually I started my online diary much earlier when I still using yahoo (my website). Since emigrate to blogspot, it made me so much easier and faster to update. I'm talking hours vs minutes here.

Since 15 Aug 04, my online diary remain a fairly close resemblance; Like eat what, going out to where, who I see, what I see...etc. Should I change my approach to blogging? Most probably, it ain't gonna to happen.

There are times, I really wanted to stop blogging because it takes up a lot of my time, like uploading pictures, resize photo.....thinking how to write...etc. Of course laziness do play a big big part. Guys, you have no idea how much effort I put. At times, it took me hours to complete(only minutes to read). This alone, I feel like throwing in the towel. But when friends called or sms you telling you they enjoyed your work, it gave me strength & motivation to carry on again. (You know who you are)

Also I write for a reason, having them read my online journal like like keeping in touch even we don't meet or called each other. How I wish my friends have online journal as well so I could know what is going on in their lives.

Remember this guys, "Out of sight is out of mind"

Go to my website and sing.....

Dedicated esp to the hosts of National day parade.

Friday, August 12, 2005

Wau lau en, a mere 4 peaceful protesters, they send in the whole riot squad! Next times, if the protesters swell to 10, probably K9 units, apache helicopter or F16 might call in.

Well, I was not surprise the riot police was called in for 4 peaceful protesters. Remember the hundreds of Police, Army & The Gurkha's was called upon to go after the 3 fugitives at Paula Tekong?

Maybe the riot police needs some drill practise, that's why the whole squad was brought in.

Excerpt:

“This section go to the right! The rest go left! No one is to come through!” barked the corporal to his men, clad in full riot gear – truncheons, shields, head gear, and shin guards.

The threat? Four (yes, 4) activists who had assembled outside the Central Provident Fund Building in downtown Singapore to protest against the non-transparent and non-accountable nature of the way the Singapore Government deals with public funds"
